The staff could have been more helpful. That’s our only negative comment. Otherwise it was excellent. Beautiful building and very comfortable. Nothing at all to dislike.

Couples Adventure. A first timer in Paris will find this location full of possibilities. Off season travel is our preference. Use your points for six nights like we did, especially if you're Diamond. Room 363 was our upgraded corner Executive Room. Breakfast buffet included. The Hilton app works fine. We arrived 3:10pm and walked around the adjacent train station till we got the room-is-ready text at 4:15pm. Notable staff were Johann at the front desk and bell hop Philip. Everyone from the breakfast team, housekeeping, and concierge were eager to answer questions. All spoke English. Look for the Lego model of the hotel itself. Minor nits are expected from a historic building. Thanks Hilton Paris Opera for a memorable visit.. .

Fantastic Visit to Paris made Even More Special by our Stay at the Hilton Paris Opera.. From the moment we arrived to our departure we could not fault the hotel or its staff! We received a very warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We were upgrade which was a lovely surprise. The room windows were looking onto the inner courtyard of the hotel. If you are looking for a view this room wouldn’t be for you. However, the room and facilities more than made up for the lack of view. It was also quiet as we were away from the street noise. The executive room was big. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had a beautiful rain shower and heated floor! The room was very clean. There was also a coffee machine with supplies. Breakfast was good with an excellent selection of foods. The staff were excellent and used dishes were cleared promptly. We also had access to the Executive lounge. Staff in this area were great. The location is excellent. We walked to many of the attractions. We couldn’t fault the hotel and would be happy to recommend it to friends and family. Thank you to all the team for giving us a very special stay in Paris!. .

Disappointing. Extremely disappointing. We booked 5 days 2 Rooms for a family of 4 for an amazing Christmas experience for the kids( 16 and 18)…. Christmas in Paris ! 1st impression ok nothing amazing.. room wasn’t ready, nothing we hadn’t experienced .ok. So we went shopping, just around the corner. We got back rooms were nice, not amazing. Don’t expect big rooms in Paris and their’s were not tiny, bathroom was very nice. We had a nice glimpse at the Effiel tower. But this is where it got really bad. Executive club was one of the worst I’d event been in, small, very worn with only 1 beer, 1 white- Chardonnay, and a red - no Champagne or sparkling! Then out came the food - I’d had only seen this behaviour a couple of times in my life- Sizzlers and the Hawaii Hilton. It was pigs to a trough. The plates were piled hight defying gravity and the poor waiter couldn’t even get the food to the buffet so he placed it on the table and walked away. I sat back any watch the appealing behaviour. Grabbing numerous beers at a time , I was so shocked, we could not watch this for further 4 nights, we were going to check out. I complained to the manager over the lack choice of wine … no champagne in France ???? and their guest behaviour. We had come from the Hilton Vienna and Hilton Berlin and had not seen anything like it. The manager who was very nice, but other than giving us a bottle of champagne which nice, there little else to be done . Breakfast was nice, good, but I did chuckle as the Hilton Berlin served sparking wine for Mimosa’s for breakfast which I thought was a lovely treat and when I complained the night before to the manager and told her what Berlin offered she must have listened as they pop that in the breakfast buffet. The executive club had sparking wine the next night, but the food situation was horrific. Sadly the lounge is so small that unless you are at the opposite end of the lounge you will has people lined up near you waiting for their deep fried calamari or chip. We skipped the lounge the next night but got in at 6.45pm and thought I’d grab a quick drink but they had cleared the wine. Last night there no sparking … again !! To say the lounge was poor was an understatement . Location it’s ok I would describe it as the Times Square of Paris. Very close to train stations and department stores very busy. We had stayed at the Hilton last time we were in Paris (Arc de triomphe) and it was amazing. On of the best lounges we had ever been in. That is what I wanted and expected for my family holiday. I feel if you can’t deliver a respectable lounge then don’t offer it. By offering up poor substitute of a lounge is just distorting your brands reputation and trust. As long as you don’t enter the lounge it would be ok but I can tell you there a much more charming boutique hotels in nicer parts of Paris to stay at. But we chose the Hilton for the lounge and what we thought we could trust to deliver a quality and experience as they had in a number of their other locations. Would I stay here again, no no no . I look at the reviews and people rave about it. Again that adds to my disappointment as I wanted that experience for my family. This was our big family holiday that we planned to go in for years… Christmas in Paris and at hotel chain that I thought I could rely I on for exceptional quality, experience and service, but we where just left disappointed.. .
