Good. The hotel is located conveniently only 5 mins from the metro B stop. Very nice and helpful staff at the reception. Tasty breakfast.. A little outdated, the bathroom was not 100% clean, you can hear everything from both outside and inside.
I booked a double room but it was very small.
But overall, the value was good for the money..

Good location at a good price in Rome. The location is very well located and very close to the metro station. The staff is very polite, especially Mr. Fernando, who speaks Portuguese. The breakfast is good.. I have nothing to complain about, but breakfast can use some fruits..

It was lovely.. I really enjoyed the breakfast. Coffee was great and they allowed us to take away breakfast before the 7 am starting time.. Everything was good. You need to take a train to get to the city center of Rome but I enjoyed taking the train in Italy to see how the locals live. Their train system is very easy and convenient even though they had a strike while we were there. There strike did make sure the trains were working to get people to work and back again..

Great value for money. The room is very big, with a bath and comfortable bed. The cleanness is great.
The staff is very nice and accommodating, great help and advices!
The breakfast was ok, not spectacular but very basic.
The only real problem is the terrible noise when people go up and down the the stairs.. .

Felt welcome in friendly La Pergola. We liked the friendliness of the receptionists. We also slept extremely well, which is exceptional when staying in a hotel. The bathroom was large, well equipped and clean.. We weren't familiar with the Italian breakfast, and we found it all too sweet to our taste. Probably it was nice for those who like cake and biscuits in the morning..

Hotel La Pergola. This hotel was just too far from the centre of Rome but thankfully close to the Metro which was simple to use.
We did not realise it was so far out of town but we managed.
We stayed for 4 nights.
Jonnio on reception was brilliant, spoke great English and very knowledgeable and gave us great tips and a map to help us on our way.
Pillows were flat and hard, no A/C unfortunately.
Very clean and bathroom was great.
Breakfast was great, good coffee.
No bar service at night when we wanted a drink and we ate across the road at a nice Restaurant.. .

Adequate hotel, no AC regulation in the room. Friendly staff, clean room, good breakfast and good WiFi. There was no AC. They explain that this is controlled by the hotel and because of local regulations it could not be turned on. But it doesn’t matter, all hotels I visit have AC that can be regulated in the room, by the guest.
As a result I had to either keep the window open, and be eaten by mosquitos and have traffic noise, or keep it shut and sleep in a stuffy room
So this aspect needs to be modernised.
