Bad I don’t recommend it to anyone. It was big difference between the pictures and reality I didn’t like nothing. There no restaurant in the hotel but they put pictures in there website that they have restaurant and it was in bad location there no restaurant near you need a car to get the restaurant and the hotel has no extra pillow.

Clean rooms but lack basic amenities. Like: the staff at reception were very friendly and helpful . The location was close to my hospital and convenient. Decor very nice. Rooms were always clean . Housekeeping was efficient. Dislike : the restaurant advertised on booking.com was closed and this isn't highlighted when you book. In addition , the room did not have a kettle. I was informed it was government rule not to have a kettle in the room, which I found bizarre as I've stayed in so many hotels in Istanbul and never been told this. There was 1 kettle shared amongst all hotel guest and always had to go downstairs at reception for just a warm drink. The vents within our bedroom was set between 24-30degrees. Meaning on warm days or nights , we couldn't have an AC on. When asked to change this, we were told it couldn't be changed until warm summers. Not sure I will be booking it again.. .

Exceptional. I would like to express my gratitude to The City Suites and its staff. I stayed for 2 days for business, but from now on, I will only choose this place. I loved the sauna.. .

Mr. Terrible place the sheets had not been changed for 2 days and when I went to reception to tell them why the sheets haven’t been changed they told me “do you change your sheets everyday at home?” The room was swarming with ants and my wife And my child had been bitten badly. The hotel staff didn’t take this seriously. The travel cot we were given for our child was broken. They couldn’t even call us a taxi from the reception, this was clearly too much of an inconvenience for them. Very unhelpful and unprofessional staff and rooms are not cleaned properly. Avoid at all costs.. .

Very disappointing and unfortunately it’s not very clean.. The shower was good, good flow of hot and cold water. Tea, coffee and toiletries provided (although not replenished for 4 days). Nice decor. Window/doors that you can tilt or open completely out. Nice view into the garden.. Dirty room, it was not cleaned properly when we arrived. Given one towel each for the five days we were there. No cleaner came to clean the room during our 5 days stay and the tea, coffee and toiletries were only replenished the day before we left. No bins emptied from the room, we brought rubbish down to the reception and the girl on the desk said there is no bin to put it in. Very rude girl on reception, not helpful at all, not even polite. The man was friendly though and helpful. Girl on reception was asleep at the desk in the afternoon. We had to keep updating the key card every day or it wouldn’t work. Not very soundproof, you can hear people talking in the next room. Another guest we spoke to was getting a refund and booking in somewhere else because he said his room was dirty and had not been cleaned when he arrived even though they checked him in and gave him his key. So not only our room that hadn’t been cleaned and we didn’t speak to anyone else so don’t know if they had the same problem. The hotel is in a very hilly area, although not the hotels fault and it’s a long walk from the main shops, about 45 minutes walk including very steep hills. Asked the girl on the reception to phone a taxi and she said there was none available. Only one pillow on the bed. No restaurant or spa even though it’s advertised on the website. Very disappointing and would not stay there again unfortunately, unless the girl on the reception becomes more helpful and they clean the rooms properly and look after their guests. It’s the only time I have ever stayed anywhere and not left a tip for the cleaning lady!.

We couldn’t sleep. Many noises are heard at night and early morning. Guests talking is loud. Doors that slam shut. We couldn't sleep well. The food in the restaurant is good but little variety. The treatment of the staff was correct and friendly... .

The worst experience ever. My boyfriend and I decided to spend the weekend in Istanbul and booked a Deluxe room with a double bed, whenever we went to do the check in the receptionist told us that our room was already occupied and he gave us a standard room instead, no refund for the difference in price, no apology, no nothing. He told us instead that we could switch room in the morning as the one we wooked and we were charged for became available next day. We did so and on Saturday bee change every thing to our new room, spent the day out and when we came back at night there was a huge pond of water in the floor, the water was coming from the ceiling, there was a leak just where the light was, so dangerous. We called reception and said they couldn't do anything as the hotel was all booked up so we could decide between sleeping in the room with the leaking ceiling or sleeping in the lobby. We complained to the manager next morning and until 12pm, just when we were leaving, they weren't able to offer us any solution, at the end they offer us either lunch or a late check out which weren't options for us as we had to leave already. He told us then that he would talked to a responsible and contact us next day, well, we still waiting. Never I've been treated that bad in my life.. .
