Great place for a stopover for rail travel. Very convenient for Gare de Lyon and the Place de la Bastille. Room was very comfortable with a good en suite bathroom. The neighbourhood is good for walking with plenty of bars, patisseries and restaurents.. .

WARNING: STAY HERE ONLY IF YOU'RE OKAY WITH A FILTHY ROOM! Future travelers, beware. Sheets weren't changed, and hair from previous guest was found strewn beneath and on the sheets, pillowcase and duvet cover. Reception refused help. Same issue on the second night. Before checkout, I decided to take a bath to discover a build up of body grime in the bath. I showed pictures taken from both nights and the bath to the receptions whose response was dismissive and failed to provide evidence of the ‘combed room’ after promising a thorough clean from the first night.. .

Renovation Work . Not a very pleasant welcome. The windows downstairs are all blocked and covered with plastic due to paintwork. The reception desk is hidden behind the corner. Elevator covered with masking tape. Light and electrical fittings hanging and detached from the wall, very unsafe. Felt like going to a construction site. The website said that it was recently renovated. I think they meant recently started renovating. The rooms are very old and tired. I think renovations should occur whilst not welcoming guests.. .

Very friendly staff, comfortable bed, good location. Lots of restaurants & shops near by & close to metro &. Great location. Rooms a little dated but very clean.

Noisy area. The location was great, very close from Gare Lyon and from restaurants, shops and the river.. The street is very noisy. It started to become more "quiet" from 3am. On top of the street noise, the air conditioning in the bathroom is very noisy and cannot be turned off. The bed and pillow were also not that great, too hard..
