Great staff and location. The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Special thanks to Bilal who was very personable and ensured we were happy with our room for our 5 night stay. He was exceptionally helpful in recommending places to visit and helped with transport. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We also enjoyed breakfast and efficient service from the waiter. A great location walking distance to the major sites.. .

Perfect hotel in a fabulous location!. Just back from a great 4 nights at this fabulous hotel. Staff were lovely and helpful and very informative of all hot spots around and tramlines etc. As we stayed in winter it felt like we had the hotel to ourselves. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice. The hotel it's self has wonderful bits of historical ruins and a fabulous mosaic in the Breakfast room! Room was lovely and adequate. Very close to the main Mosques and you can see the blue Mosque from the rooftop terrace! Would definitely recommend this hotel it was a perfect location and very close to shops, restaurants etc. Never used the bar or room service, and unfortunately the roof terrace bar was not open (winter time) but you were able to go up to look at the view and we got some wonderful sunset photos and a great view of the Blue Mosque. Would stay here again if returning to Istanbul! Thank you for a lovely time.. .

Perfect weekend getaway. On arrival we were greeted by the reception team, who were full of information and knowledge. As it was late in the evening, they suggested a local restaurant and even walked us round to it.
The hotel itself is lovely, clean and inviting, with many original Roman features on display, including a cistern turned into a lounge area and a mosaic floor section beneath the breakfast room.
The room itself was also clean and a generous size, with tasteful decor, a tv, fridge, tea and coffee etc. in the bathroom were toothbrushes and toothpaste in sealed packets, razors, shampoo, conditioner and the like.
The bed was large and comfortable and the chaise longue and table by the window made this more than just a bedroom.
Room service is available, but we did not make use of it, preferring to go out and find food.
Breakfast on our first day was an enormous spread, meats, breads, fruits piled high with water, juice and tea/coffee in seemingly endless supply.
Within easy walking distance of the Eresin are the go to destinations of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern and the Topkapi Palace - all much closer than we thought! Also the Grand Bazaar is a 20 minute walk away - but be aware that it is closed on Sunday!
The staff could not have been more helpful and made this a perfect weekend getaway. .

Best hotel in Istanbul. The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of Istanbul’s historic district, just a short walk from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Topkapi Palace. It’s ideal for sightseeing!
The hotel itself is charming, with a unique combination of modern comfort and historical character. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and decorated with elegant touches. The bed was very comfortable, and we had a great sleep every night.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with recommendations and any requests. The breakfast was also a highlight—delicious and with a great variety of choices, including traditional Turkish options.
Overall, I highly recommend Eresin Hotel Sultanahmet to anyone visiting Istanbul. It’s a fantastic blend of comfort, convenience, and hospitality. I would definitely stay here again!. Nothing, everything perfect..
