A comfortable and friendly hotel, ideal to explore Barcelona. Grand Hotel Central is a beautiful hotel, ideally situated to explore Barcelona. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and beautiful.
About the only improvement I can think is that some explanation should be placed in the room about how to raise and lower the shades. A small matter, but we spent 5-10 minutes trying to find the mechanism, and finally called reception for directions.
Views of Barcelona from the terrace are beautiful, and the breakfast buffet is great.. .

Exploring Barcelona. Fabulous hotel situlated in the best location you could ask for. We were minutes from the sq where the cathedral is and minutes from the gothic area. The roof top pool and bar gave us fantastic views across the city. We had a room with city view and a king-size bed we were on the 7th floor. We slept well here at night, the room was very nice with a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was OK however there was not too much choice fried eggs already cooked and scrambled eggs in a tray. However Breakfast was peaceful experience. I would definitely book this hotel again for future visits but I would eat breakfast outside the hotel the street the hotel is in has plenty of bar cafes. We did not like having to pay a 100 euros a night, which was put on our bank card, we were refunded the money once we checked out. It is a huge amount to pay out .. .

Excellent service and great value. Excellent service and support. The rooftop bar has good lite dinners and great tasty drinks. The day we were leaving there was a parade in front or the hotel and a bellhop took our luggage 5 block to get a cab. Great service. Would go again for sure. Breakfast was wonderful and abundant.. .

Excellent. Very nice room and amenities. excellent service and excellent breakfast buffet. very good location, hotel is somewhat behind the Sagrada. I would definitely stay there on my next trip.. .
