We drove to Cardona from Barcelona,no problems, access to the hotel is problematic. The hotel is in a hill town . It has two entries. One on the lower street, the other on a upper street. Neither is convenient. The lower entry is from the garage across the street requiring a circular stair t reach the lobby. The staff helped us to park the car in a difficult to access garage . By the way, the staff when we checked in was very helpful. The staff when checking out was not helpful. He opened the garage door with lock and watch us struggle putting or bags in the car while it was in the street blocking the traffic. The town appears to have two restaurant located at the lower part of the main plaza . The upper plaza has two cafe, one more cafe located at the town entry near the tourist office. The cafe appear to be frequented by locals. They serve good food and friendly. One of the cafes is owned by Indian or Pakistani Family, they served some. Spicy, good Indian food.
The hotel serves very good breakfast, self served, a bit confusing. The coffee machine is unusual, not easy to figure out the operation. The food such as juice milk water fruit bread toaster ham an cheese are located at different tables at different corner of breakfast Rooms (2).. Better access, better parking arrangement. The staff when we checked out was not helpful,.

All the restaurants closed at 4 that day so make sure to have dinner early. The hotels restaurant was closed as well.. The staff was very helpfull. I would have liked if there was a kettle available in the room..

Beautiful cozy space with a wonderful breakfast!. Beautiful hotel. Conveniently located. The lighting, fixtures and color pallette made for a comfortable space. Cozy! The staff members were friendly and professional and one went out of her way to give us tips and directions to the castle.
Say, "yes" to the breakfast. It had meats, cheeses, fancy breads, fresh fruits, yogurts, nuts as well as juice, milks, coffee and tea elegantly displayed in a buffet style.. .
