Very insolent staff --> read my full review for more details. Location was OK. Staff behavior was insolent! --> If you want to avoid headache change your mind and book another hotel.
3 days after check-in they claimed that they didn't receive their money yet from Booking.com and requested me to clarify the payment situation with booking.com.
Although my payment was done, and I knew this is not my problem, I wanted to help them. After contacting booking.com several times and spending couple of hours of my trip time in this issue, as their issue was not resolved (although booking.com was telling me that they have already received their money, but they were claiming that someone hacked the system and they are not the recipient of the money), in the last night they told they won't allow me to check-out until payment is done.
As I didn't accept to pay two times, they told we should go to Police office! Can you believe it? Polic office for an already done payment with available proof! After visiting the police office, the police man told them that as the customer already paid, you cannot avoid his check-out. However, they still were insisting that I should pay, otherwise I cannot take my luggage and leave the hotel.
At the end, I checked out without paying again, but they wasted several hours of my time in trip, stressed our group for something that I had absolutely nothing to do with and showed me how unprofessional and unreliable they are.
Never ever visit this hotel and recommend it to no one!.

We love Istanbul but the prices are much higher , too crowded and the streets are dirty. Great location , very friendly and helpfull stuff , they cleaned the room every day!. The sink in the bathroom was moving.

Vibrant city, beautyfull places, very nice people, safe on the streets, good food, incredible places. It was a good location close to everithing we want to see, , very clean, excellent personal, quiet, close to subway and Galata Tower, many places to eat local food also with nice persons to serve, very nice. Bazar was closed on Sunday and I did't know. Coudn't find a specific Chocoltate or a supermarket close by, but I didn't try hard enough.
