Bel hôtel mais la restauration est point flaible. De belles piscines . Côté adulte only et côté famille. Mais le point faible est la restauration. Des plats d hiver en plein été , ils cuisinent à la minute et quasiment aucune avance pour les viandes ou poissons. Le matin il faut attendre 20 minutes pour un œuf au plat ou des pancakes La restauration doit être améliorée ainsi que son organisation .. .

A Fuir ! j’ai payé 4 nuits à 200€ par nuit, la chambre n’a jamais été nettoyée (et ce n’est pas faute d’avoir demandé plusieurs fois, et on a fini par juste me donner du PQ à l’accueil), j’ai été coincée dans l’ascenseur (sans aucune empathie du staff), l’hôtel remplit les bouteilles d’eau minérale des chambres avec de l’eau du robinet et les ferment de nouveau (l’accueil me dit qu’avec la chaleur la capsule a sautée… pour finalement me dire qu’ils se font voler les décapsuleurs donc les femmes de chambre enlève les bouchons … moui bien sûr), la Clim ne fonctionne qu’à moitié, j’ai mis 4 jours à ce qu’il change le téléphone de la chambre, l’hôtel 4 étoiles partagent toutes ces parties communes (resto, piscines etc) avec un autre hôtel en face ce qui le rend overbooké, l’hôtel n’est pas sur la ligne de front de mer mais dans un espece de terrain vague derrière, le parking sécurisé avec une corde (lol) est à 20€ par nuit, et tout est extrêmement cher à l’intérieur (un cocktail pornstar est à 15€). .

Good but not 4-stars. The Hotel Luna Club (4-star) and Hotel Luna Park (3-star) are opposite wings of the same complex with shared facilities, so the pool is extremely busy and geting a sun lounger after 8am is unlikely/impossible! The buffet is therefore also very busy, although the standard of food was good and there was a wide choice. The gym is small and most of the equipment is broken, although there are bicycles available which you can take out for the day. However, we would not rate Hotel Luna Club as 4-stars (more like 3-stars), given that we had to pay extra for a kettle in the room, and also a cot, despite specifying that we were travelling with an infant in the booking. In a true 4-star hotel, I would not expect any additional charges for using these items. At the least, these extra charges should have been highlighted in advance. Finally, the air conditioning in our room did not work properly throughout the stay, though we may have been unlucky, and as the hotel was at full capacity, we coud not change rooms.. .

The best hotel on Costa Brava. The best hotel on the Costa Brava. Very nice service at the reception, in the restaurant, in the bar and the cleaning team. We have been to this hotel for the 6th time and each time we come back like home. The hotel has large rooms with balconies, everything is very clean and fragrant. There is wonderful music playing in the background. There are 2 swimming pools to choose from, one of them for adults. The food is delicious. Made with the best ingredients. Delicious fruit. The hotel's location favors relaxation, it is close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The hotel offers great yoga classes and more. I recommend it 100% and I will always go back there.. .

NOT WHAT IT SAYS ON THE TIN!!!. We fell in love with the look of the hotel both on Thomas Cooks site and the hotels website. A haven of calm bliss and wellbeing surrounded by several pools and relaxation areas. We particularly liked the idea of participating in some Yoga classes, and relaxing in the Spa area. So excited for our holiday (first in 3 years) we were showing everyone we knew the amazing pictures on the hotels website’s. The hotel, resort was actually situated in the middle of several residential blocks of flats, the whole area although very clean was completely covered in graffiti. We arrived and all was not what it seemed. (for another review solely for Thomas cook, we had had a nightmare since landing) Got to reception was looked a little different to the pictures, just believing I was tired from the travelling, decided to breath and take It all in our stride… The reception staff barely spoke any English which I found very strange. There are two hotels within this resort and thankfully we notice this at time of booking, the Luna Park is 3star and the Luna Club is 4star. It was actually portrayed that these were quite far apart too but actually there are basically joined and either side of the reception area. In fact the dining hall was on the lower floor of the Luna Park side, with the resorts Bar also on this side. The Club was absolutely not 4 star quality. We were pointed to where we had to find our room on the 5th floor, basically to enter the “Club” side you go through glass doors which I assume is to make it all a little posher, and a glass lift to boot. The room was basic but adequate, twin beds with double sheets, extra pillows. Plug points and side light switches either side of each bed was really good. Each room has a balcony with 2chairs and table, also a white plastic washing airer attached to the wall. We also had a small fridge which was a nice touch, I will recommend taking out the two small shelves so you can then get a few large bottles of water stood up inside. Game changer. Our room over looked a pool, of which I was very surprised at the size, we actually checked the website at this time and then it all clicked into place, amazing camera angels and marketing. This pool was in fact the adults only pool, around this small but Beautiful pool were your normal sunbed, 8 day beds and 7 4poster cabana beds. All looked very nice, until we read the signs around the pool the 4 post €59 per day!! The reception staff did come out with card machines as well… So we paid extra to stay in the Luna Club but the Luna Park holiday makers could also use this adults only pool, why did we pay for the more expensive side if you can in fact use the pools on the Club side. We decided half board was a suitable option for us, expecting to be able to get a bar snack around lunch time… errr no, the bar only sold ready salted Lays!! So we had to walk into town for any snacks for lunch time. Breakfast and dinner were really good, plenty of options for all, everything fresh and replenished all the time as there was a two hour window for both servings morning and evening. You could also go up multiple times. We had a couple of off weather days as one would expect in Sept, so we thought we would take advantage of the spa, nope, we had to pay for it. When its in the title of the hotel you’d expect to get that thrown in as part of your holiday charge. Fully expecting to pay for massage appointments, we tried to find the list to see what was available and which one we would like to book, well they were al written in Spanish. After a long wait and be ignored at reception we finally got to ask if there was an fact an English list we could read. They didn’t have them out on the side in a cupboard behind reception, we quickly came to realise why, this hotel was not catering for the English. Most people staying there were in fact German or French, and the staff also spoke a lot of French. Quite hard push to actually find any English staying there and when you did hear the sounds of your mother tongue it was like we’d won the lotto. wanting to do join in for the yoga classes was something that we were really looking forward too, however same thing again all the sign up sheets were written in Spanish, i had to download a app to take a picture of it and translate... eventfully i managed to speak with one of the yoga teachers who spoke English she actually was very helpful and explain which ones would be suitable to beginners. she also explain that all of the classes in the mornings were led by instructors who dont speak English!! well that was not good for us and ruined that part of the hoilday. Cant quite understand why Thomas Cook would have this hotel on their site clearly haven’t done any research for a long time with this one. We didn’t have a rep at the hotel and when asked they one didn’t have any idea what I was saying nor had they even heard of Thomas Cook!! . .
