It looks like a super cheap communal hostel !!. Nothing, only location was good.. The room they gave us it wasn’t the room we did book. We expected the same room was showed on the photos but actually it wasn’t !!! I complained immediately about that disgusting room, and they gave me a new one, by saying, “we upgrade you for free !!”. The new room, had no even water, the wardrobe door fell on my feet as soon as I did open it. The clima had no remote controller, and one bed was standing by the fireplace full of ashes 😨🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢.

Avoid. Old, rundown and we only have a small thin, worn-out old single blanket for a double bed and they can't offer me anything more till Tomorrow so I'm going to be very uncomfortable tonight. Also, our AC only functions on heat :( so during the day when it is warmer we are going to have to have the window open and it is so noisy! The bathroom is dated. The bed sheets are clean at least. Also, there are stairs to the lift and then stairs from the lift to the reception so we had to haul our luggage up. The TV is at an angle that makes it hard for both of us to watch from the bed. This is the worst review I have ever had to post. The location is central and a plus.. .

Terrible experience and I would not recommend it. Location only. The room was located into an Annex of the main building. The mini staircase that would connect the latter were made of an unstable structure. Very dangerous we must say.
The room was small, filthy and very old. As for the toilet , every time you flush it would made a terrible noise. We could not even take a shower as there was a leak and the bath mat was soaked in water..

Poor experience all around. The location is good but otherwise a negative experience. A LOT of noise coming in from the street throughout the day and night and through the paper-thin wall. Tiny shower that is unpleasant to use. The hotel is located on the second floor of what seems like an office building and requires buzzing and talking with the receptionist every time you want to enter the building. Having a guest over was also very burdensome. However, the main reason I had a bad experience is because on check out day, despite ample availability, when I asked to check out at 12pm instead of their standard 11am, the reception told me to read the sign on his desk. He didn’t even answer my question directly. I asked if it was 30 euros for the one hour extension and he said yes. I found this unreasonable given that the nightly rate I paid was 100 euros.. .

Great if location is key and you don't have high needs/expectations. We needed a place to stay in central Rome after our original accommodation fell through at 4pm on our first night -- 939 was able to get us set up in a pinch and the front desk was very helpful and accommodating considering the circumstances.
The room was quite small -- we had to climb over our stuff to get around the bed and we were traveling with just two carry on-sized suitcases and backpacks. We didn't notice anything in terrible condition but the room wasn't in great shape overall. Wifi was passable. There is an elevator but no breakfast. Didn't bother us a ton because we were constantly out and about, and really what you are paying for is the location.
The location can't be beat -- you're a 10-20 minute walk from just about everything. We took way fewer taxis than we thought we would because we knew we could walk, and if you do need a taxi you're very close to the river and some major streets so you don't have to call ahead or walk forever to hit an actual street with traffic. It felt nice knowing we were never that far from the room if we needed it. We were happy with the price given a lot of the other options in the same part of the city.
So if you're traveling light, don't plan on spending much time in your room, and want something reasonably priced in a great walking-friendly location, you'll probably be satisfied.. .

100% recommend, we enjoyed our stay there!. This is a very old, truly interesting building. We even had a mantelpiece in our room! The bed is nice, everything is clean. The staff even cleaned our room on a daily basis.
The reception works 24/7 (which looks like a miracle in Rome), and guys on the reception are very friendly and willing to help. And you can leave your luggage in the hotel if you arrived earlier.
The building in the very center, 5 minutes to Pantheon.. .

Bad Air-conditioning - No sleep - No help. The location was convenient.. The first night, and as a result the following day, was not pleasant. Here's what happened. Upon arrival we were lead to our room. The stuff was helpful. When entered the room the AC was already working for some time, as the room temperature was cool. We closed the AC and left the room to visit Rome.
Long story short, when we returned at night and opened the air-conditioning, it was making a loud sound at random, making us wake up every 20 minutes.
We went to the reception (the sound was so loud one could have heard it even there), we mentioned the issue and asked what we can do. Unfortunately, we had to spend the night awake... Next day they changed us room and thankfuly it was ok.
Pity I can't upload the sound... Still have the recording.
When you book call and ask them if they will take care of the air conditioning soungs!.
