Convenient, clean, and with everything you need.. The Aparthotel was very conveniently situated, close to the Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est, and to the Metro Stations at Gare de l'Est, Magenta and Jacques Bonsergent. These give easy access to the whole of Paris, and the centre can be reached within 15 minutes, as well as making the Aparthotel very convenient for Eurostar travellers like ourselves.
We were welcomed at the front desk by Walid, who spoke excellent English, as did the other staff we encountered. The online check in helped make it a seamless experience. Walid was efficient and friendly, and showed us everything we needed to know within minutes, and we were soon in our room.
The room itself had everything we needed. Although compact, there was a small dining table and chairs, a large bed, a kitchenette, and a shower room and toilet. We chose the Aparthotel mainly for the self catering facilities (I often have trouble with food in France, due to my milk allergy and the French love of cheese, cream and butter). Although small, there was everything needed to cook simple meals, including a small hob and a microwave. The fridge was very useful too.
The bed was very comfortable, and the shower room, again compact, had everything we needed in a small space. Air conditioning and a heater made it easy to achieve a comfortable temperature in the room.
The room was very clean, as were the corridor and lift, and we saw staff cleaning under the beds in other rooms every morning.
The area around the Aparthotel, the 10e Arrondisement, is cosmopolitan and bustling, obviously up-and-coming, and has everything a visitor could want. There are a very good variety of shops and restaurants, selling both French and international goods and cuisines. The Canal St Martin is not far from the Aparthotel, and there are several small parks and public gardens within easy reach.
All in all, we had a very pleasant stay, and should we return to Paris, the Aparthotel will be our first choice of accommodation. The view from the room was of the Passage from which the hotel is accessed. It's not the best view from a window, but what should we expect? Herds of wildebeest galloping majestically across the plains? To be honest, it's such a minor fault, I wouldn't even say it was something we didn't like. I just wanted the opportunity to make the Fawlty Towers reference..

Good location, clean, great value for money,. Very clean, spacious, good location, very close to gare du l'est (metro line 7), staff very helpful and kind, easy to check in and out, beds were comfortable. There was a hairdryer, sink, coffee machine, tea, cutlery, suitcase holder and a mini fridge in the room. Plenty of storage and cabinets. Lots of lights and easy to control. There were two full length mirrors and bedside cabinets. The location felt very safe, they lock the front door after 11pm. The lobby had snacks and drinks to purchase, and small breakfast bits like croissants and pastries. Very good value for money!!. Bathroom was very small, especially the shower. Couldn't adjust the height of the shower head as the holder was too loose.
The shower temperature was so crazy. Takes a long time to heat up, and when I turned the knob all the way to hot it was bordering on boiling and burnt me. Just please be careful of this, don't turn the heat all the way up just wait for the water to warm up!! One of the entrances to the alley where the accommodation is located is quite dirty and smelly, but not a massive problem as there's another entrance which was perfect. The only sockets were next to the sink/kitchen area, there were none near the beds or table. Had to wait a little bit one night for someone to come to reception to allow us inside after they locked the doors, but not a massive amount of time. Overall really good, no massive problems, just small things..

Great location, clean and comfy. Stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment for 6 nights with 2 adults and 2 teens. We adults had a spacious bedroom with comfy bed, wardrobe and safe. Kids slept in the main living area in individual fold out chair/beds. Small dining table and extra sofa bed completed the configuration. The kitchenette was small - ok for hot drinks and breakfast but probably not big enough to cook a full meal for the family, Only other issue was the hot water, which went cold after 2 people had showers. Wasn't bad enough to complain to staff about - we just showered at different times. Room was clean.
Staff were polite and helpful and it was good to have a 24 hour reception available if we needed it.
The location is perfect. Only a few minutes walk to Gare de L'Est, 10-15 mins walk to Gare du Nord and so extremely easy to get around Paris by train or metro, which we did each day. Loads of cafes and restaurants within walking distance and a few small supermarkets too. This made it easy on our first night when we arrived from 24 hours of travelling to simply get meat, bread, cheese and wine and have the utensils and crockery back at the hotel to eat in comfort.
Well priced for Paris. Would definitely consider staying here again for the cost, convenience and comfort.. .
