Inaccurate Advertising. While I agree the room were very nice, the staff was helpful, the location great, I am disappointed. The confirmation I received, as well as the current advertising on their website, is not accurate. There is no tapas restaurant and there is not rooftop terrace. From what I could understand from the front desk staff, the rooftop terrace closed some time ago. The gathering spot on the rooftop was on of the reasons we chose this hotel.. .

The room was very spacious. Bathroom as well. And the balcony looked over the cosy yard- stunning. No street noise.
The reality exceeds the pictures. Actual room is way better than pictures. Usually its the opposite:)
Location- brilliant, with lots of restaurants around and 5 minute walking distance to the central street pesseig de Gracia.
Enjoyed my stay a lot. Would definitely come back.. Everything was great. As a recommendation for service improvement , I would suggest the hotel to provide slippers in the room , as the floor is tile and is a bit uncomfortable to walk barefoot.
Would be nice to also provide cattle and cups for coffee/tea.
Although, they gave me one when I asked..

Ambassador at Large. Constanza Hotel Barcelona is an excellent value for quality and money. Large reception and very large rooms (especially 503). Nice view and very helpful staff. Highly recommended.
PS: be very careful with city pickpockets I lost my watch in a split second.. .

I recently stayed at the 2-star Hotel Constanza in Barcelona, and I must say, it far exceeded my expectations! From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and eager to assist with anything I needed. The hotel’s location is unbeatable—situated in the Eixample district, it’s just a short walk to Plaza de Cataluña, the Gothic Quarter, and many of the city’s iconic attractions.
I was fortunate enough to stay in Room 503, which I highly recommend to anyone visiting. This room is a true gem! It was impeccably clean, spacious, and beautifully designed, with modern furnishings and thoughtful amenities. The private balcony offered stunning views of the city, and it was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring Barcelona. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep, and the bathroom featured a luxurious raindrop shower that added a touch of indulgence.
Despite being a 2-star hotel, the service and quality felt like 4 or even 5 stars. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, professional, and went out of their way to ensure my stay was perfect.
If you’re looking for a comfortable, centrally located hotel in Barcelona that offers incredible value for money, Hotel Constanza is the place to stay. And if Room 503 is available—book it without hesitation! I can’t wait to return on my next visit to Barcelona.

Great for a city trip. Close to the center, which is perfect for a city trip. Nice and clean room, friendly staff. I got a room upgrade which I really appreciated.. The room was very noisy, thin walls, so unfortunately I could hear everything from the room neighbors and the housekeeping on the floor..
