Recommended for first time visitors. I generally love my visits to Fatih, the hotel was decent as it's imbedded in the culture of the city with quick access from the main attractions of the city. small and cozy. I stayed 2 nights and it served it's purpose nicely. Waking up to the sound of seagulls was new for me and the view into the sea got me to witness one of the most beautiful sunrises. I would also recommend the restaurant next to the hotel.. I would question if I would stay 3 nights, the train, dogs and constructions were unexpected. breakfast was adequate. The hotel did mention they don't provide parking, that was a challenge. However, giving the staff credit. they were very accommodating and found me a parking as I checked in to the hotel..

Very comfortable and great location. The staff weee very helpful and the hotel was very clean. Comfortable beds and our room was quite good The location was excellent of the hotel just 5 mins from Blue mosque. Restaurants were plenty nearby. Would recommend this as we were 2 women so felt very safe to be there even late at night. .

Great hotel, great location.. For the price & location, this hotel was perfect. Close to restaurants & shops & walking distance to the park where yiu can see the mosque and the line for the Basilica. They recommended the sunset boat tour & with limited time, it was perfect.. .

Thanks to wonderful staff. It was a nice time in Istanbul in a cozy hotel Sumengen with a very hospitable staff Melikșan, an and Muhammad who made our stay comfortable and enjoyable! Being so attentive to our needs these guys managed to do all necessary arrangements, starting from the rooms up to excursions and everyday guides to our walks and shopping advice. Breakfasts with a view were absolutely delicious with a variety of dishes and deserts which were completely different every day and made everyone happy with their choices. The location of the hotel is very convenient: 5-10min walk to all main touristic destinations - Blue Mosque, Haiha Sophia, Grand Bazar and many others. Small restaurants all around the hotel would let you try Turkish cuisine and satisfy even picky eaters. Melikșan helped us all day long and Çan assisted us at evening time. Thanks a lot to these wonderful young men.. .

Very poor. Close to the center. Old building. Nearby is reconstruction. Very bad sound isolation - you hear every step in the next room. Could not sleep. Breakfast is nothing- go to the closest restaurant better. Stuff tried to order a taxi but you better take any taxi in the street- they ordered taxi which faked me for 500 liras (staff promised 1600 but driver insisted on 2100) and went the wrong way and I was late to the airport (2 hours!!! Drive - impossible) and all that because of stuff help..

I had a wonderful experience during my stay. The hotel was comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. Addit. I like the hotel's location, as it is convenient for variety of activities. With numerous dining options just a short walk away, I can easily explore local cuisine and try new restaurants. Additionally, the proximity to shopping areas makes it effortless to indulge in some retail therapy or pick up souvenirs. Plus, being close to key sightseeing attractions means I can maximize my time exploring the local culture and landmarks without the hassle of long commutes.. Finding the location can be challenging if you're unfamiliar with the area. Additionally, having friendlier staff would certainly enhance the experience..

Relaxing haven close to sights. Hugely enjoyable experience. Walkable from Blue Mosque and Ayasofya, but in its own little neighbourhood. A straightforward hotel, great views and best of all friendly and helpful staff. It was difficult to get going in the mornings as there is a buffet breakfast overlooking the Bosphorus. Thank you for our stay.. .
