Do not stay at this hotel..... DO NOT STAY in this hotel. I paid $2,500 AUD to stay in this hotel because it had excellent reviews on trip advisor. I found this hotel to be dated and located in a questionable area. Although the hotel is a 9 minute walk from the train station, as a solo traveller l felt very unsafe during that walk. As l walked from the train station to the hotel, I was watched by multiple men just standing on the corner of different streets. The hotel itself is not modern. My room did not have a bar fridge. There were no English channels on the tv - apart from the news. Room service was limited at the hotel - snacks and sandwiches. I was not well when l arrived at the hotel and stayed only one night because l needed to change my flight and go home. However, one night was more than enough. I booked my accommodation through Qantas who have contacted the hotel to try and get some kind of refund. The hotel has refused to give any type of refund. Please learn from my mistake. Even though my room had a nice balcony...l would never stay at this hotel again. In my opinion, it is not suitable for international travellers under 70 years of age - that includes solo travellers, couples and families.. .

VERY GOOD. I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN.. THE HOTEL EMPLOYEES WERE VERY HELPFUL AND POLITE.. THE NOISE FROM OUTSIDE AND SOMETIMES FROM INSIDE THE HOTEL WAS DISTURBING. MAYBE SOME EXTRA SOUNDPROOFING WOULD BE HELPFUL..

Solid 3 start hotel in good location and with great breakfast options. We had a good experience at Hotel Canada. The hotel is close to Termini station so great for getting to and from the Airport (and also getting around Rome). There is also good restaurants nearby and convenience stores too.
We stayed in room 112 which was a corner room so there is a bit of noise from the streets (bring earplugs just in case). The room was adequate and beds were comfortable.
The breakfast has a wide range of options and pastries and you can order coffee how you like it and they will make it for you in a barista's espresso machine.
There is a water dispenser in the lobby area so you can refill your bottle with still or sparkling water for free.
They do have a rule where you return your key to the reception desk when you go out (and request it when returning). It's not a huge thing but something to be aware of.. .

Great hotel, great location!. The hotel is beautiful and appointed with everything you could possibly need. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Take advantage of the 9 euro breakfast- it was delicious and was so much more than I expected-- the perfect way to start a long day of sightseeing and TONS of walking :) We came to Roma by train from Vicenza, and the train station is only a 7-ish minute walk from the hotel so it was perfect! AND, there is a subway stop just around the corner from the hotel, so getting around the city was a breeze!. .
