If there's a promotion and the price is right the location makes up for many flaws. The location is great and the price was reasonable. It's more like a nicer hostel rather than a hotel. Guest come home late and scream and make noise in the corridors and the sound isolation is bad. The rooms are rather run down. The breakfast was ok but nothing special. The subway line underneath the hotel also made the whole building shake every 10 minutes as the train passed.
The location though is perfect, close to 3 different sub way lines two of them being multi lines. Airport shuttle pretty much outside the door. Couldn't be better..

Lovely Hotel In Barcelona. This is the best hotel to stay in Barcelona in admist the buzz of Placa Catalunya. Gothic Quarter, La Ramblas and Passage de Garcia are all walking distance of 10-mins. Sagrada Familia is a 25-min walk. I love the look and feel of the hotel.
Many bars and restaurants are at walking distance as well.
The staff are always smiling and helpful. A special mention to Viktor at the reception, who gave us a free upgrade. Also, the lobby and premises of the hotel smell good and refreshing. They have a luggage space with a locker to accommodate your late check-outs or early check-in.
The property has a huge lounge to chill in if you have a late flight after your check out. This is a huge advantage.. .

Bad smell at the entrance bad attitude by employee’s. The entrance was filthy and had a bad smell . The people who worked there were not nice , they seemed very unhappy. .

A great, albeit brief, stay!. Convenient to city center, bus station. The light snacks, coffee and atmosphere in the common areas was a nice plus. We only stayed one night as a connection to our outgoing flight home, but we were well-rested and did manage to fit time in to see the sights.. .
