Perfect Boutique Hotel in Sultanahmet . Location is superb! Just a block from the T1 Tram. You can easily walk to Hagia Sofia, Sultanahmet, Basilica Cistern and all other attractions. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Massa Bistro downstairs is associated with the hotel. Tgough close proximity to all attractions, still quiet. Rooms are recently updated, clean, good size and we had a great view of the Sultanahmet Mosque. Breakfast is served daily on the 6th floor (more beautiful views) and there's a great selection of Turkish options. Sinan, who manages the Breakfast area is awesome! Always attentive to guests and their needs. Hotel management is very professional and courteous. Both Sakan & Duan were willing to help with directions, tips, recommendations and tour options. All hotel staff were pleasant, welcoming and greet you with a smile. Should we return to Istanbul in the future, we'll definitely be back to the Anthemis. . .

Good option for short stay. Great location, comfortable rooms, however, the one we got was quite small one for 2 persons.. Breakfast must be improved. The are many dishes, but most of them are stayed untouched as not suitable for breakfast - a lot of spicy mixes of something (in local style, vegetarian). Instead of that it would be enough to ensure proper choice of cooked eggs, qualitative cheese and ham, vegetables, good choice of jam, bread. Also the cleanness should be observed, the staff cuts bread without wearing gloves, for example. We used the restaurant downstairs for our meal times, also breakfast, which is just great and highly recommended - food, staff are amazing!.

Really enjoyed it. Great location.. Breakfast was good but nothing was labeled. Staff, location and facilities were great.. The sink in the bathroom in our room was loose and not working properly..

I highly recommend this hotel... Very good Kebap restaurant next to it too :). I loved breakfast at the terrace. You could see all the famous, historical landmarks from the view. Blue mosque and Ayasofya are full view... The breakfast is excellent. But most appreciated part of them all is the staff of the hotel. Sinan at the breakfast is a great host. He is always so attentive and genuinely, enjoy people and likes his job. Mr Sahin, Serkan bey they are all very pleasant people. They make special effort that you have a good staying in Anthemis Hotel. I Thank them all.. I can't really think anything.... :) The room could be prettier..

Avoid this hotel !!!. The staff is very rude and sneaky.. We booked 2 non-refundable rooms 2 adults + 1 child of 12 years old in each room and although they were paid in full, the manager refused to accommodate us, claiming that they do not have extra beds for children because children cannot be accommodated in the type of room booked, although there is no such mention on the website,. Moreover, they refused to refund our money citing the No show policy and put the rooms available on booking.com, although they were paid. by us. It is unbelievable, those people are inhuman. I strongly recommend to avoid this hotel!!!. .
