Convenient location and wonderful staff!. My husband, 20 year old son, and myself just stayed at The Columbia for 7 nites. The location is excellent - less than 10 minute walk to the Termini or Repubblica Metro stations. Close to Trevi, Spanish Steps, Opera House, and restaurants. Breakfast was basic but enough to get your day started. We stayed in the Junior Suite where the beds were firmer than I would have liked. My only complaint would be the shower area which was extremely tiny and made for very difficult maneuvering. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly.. .

A lovely hotel. what a nice hotel, not big but cozy and neat. Very friendly staff who think along with you, give tips about what to see in Rome, public transport, etc. and good service. Complete rooms, quite spacious, little noise from outside, roof terrace, breakfast with plenty of choice, well located for public transport, restaurants, shops. Highly recommended, we enjoyed it.. .

Great place to stay in Rome. A business runs on its people, and the staff at Hotel Columbia were friendly, helpful and always accommodating. The hotel itself has a great location within 5 minutes walk from Termini, Rome's central transport hub, although equally many sights can be walked with comfort. The hotel is not luxury, but is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is simple but adequate. Overall it's great value for what you get. I would happily stay here again. .

Exceptional. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were very friendly. Rooms were comfortable and they were very accommodating on any special requests when booking the rooms. When my family and I arrived at the hotel to check in, we were provided with a walking map of the city - extremely helpful! They also provided us a helpful tip on how to avoid pickpockets. The night before we flew back to the United States, the hotel receptionist arranged a cab/shuttle for the six of us (at a lower price than what the cab would have charged if we booked them directly). Since we were flying out early, they also arranged for us to have an early breakfast - which by the way, was very good. I highly recommend Hotel Columbia.. .
