Charming boutique hotel steps away from NOTRE Dame and the energy of Paris. Full view of NOTRE Dame Cathedral…..view never ceased to impress. Also able to see the Seine River and people scurrying about. The steps are difficult for anyone with mobility issues. I realized that in advance and felt that the hotel was worth the effort..

Great location, but a hotel with very little else!. Wow, where do l start, perhaps the olympics/paralympics just finishing meant that the service was less than warm, but pardon me, excuses are only important to those that make them. Five nights where we encountered reception rudeness, stale, musty and dingy conditions (you couldnt swing a cat in the room), cold water one night where the response was two micro free bottles of water as consolation, only one elevator that resembled the size of a coffin, paper thin walls with our first night having a couple playing guitar and adding to France’s population for a long weekend, having to hand our one allocated key in to reception every time we left (what is this?), and things that didn’t work in a “quirky” (is that a word that allows one to dish up inferior facilities??), and so the experience continues! Now, the saving grace is that the location is superb, right in the heart of Notre Dame, however if we hear another siren from 1am to 6am l reckon we’ll have nightmares. All in all, let’s serious with reviews, refurbishment and the reception that’s given to guests, service is an expectation not an extra.. .

Fantastic little hotel in the middle of everything - and easy airport access. We had a 3 night layover in Paris and stayed at Hotel Notre Dame. This is a fantastic little hotel that is an easy walking distance from all the sights in the 5th, 6th, and Le Marais. Yes the rooms are absolutely tiny and there is a bit of street noise - but this is what happens when you are staying in a historic building in the middle of Paris! The windows do a great job of keeping the noise to a minimum, and the space was fine for a couple enjoying a short stay. Also we discovered the RER B line runs right next to the hotel so you can zip straight to CDG Airport without any transfers, which is super handy. This hotel is good value for Paris - book a corner room with a Notre Dame view if you can, and open up the windows to enjoy a breeze, great view, and the sounds of this fantastic city.. .

Be warned…. Not as pictured!. The condition of this property is not as pictured. It is run-down and not very clean. We were assigned a room that required us to climb a ladder to access the bed (very sketchy red shag carpet in loft area). Hotel is musty and furniture is very worn/stained. Poor value, but in great location.. .

Quirky, fun, great location. We’ve been here a couple of nights now and love the quirkiness of this hotel - if you like big beige corporate hotels this is not for you! The decor is v interesting but bathrooms modern and clean and the bed very comfy. We have the duplex room with stairs to the bedroom and a wonderful view of Notre Dame and the Seine. There is an honesty bar which is a great touch and something we have used a lot. The location is brilliant - 20 min walk to the Louvre and a few short metro stops from the Eiffel Tower and Gare du Nord. Lots of lovely little restaurants round and about too. Definitely recommended if you like something a bit out of the ordinary. .

Location great however previous comment relevant to our stay. Location and Breakfast. Our room 65 was offered as two beds however it was a duplex room and access to upper area had very dangerous ladder/stair. Other bed was a sofa bed which didn't allow access to the wardrobe. Bathroom shower was poor and no side curtain or glass to stop water flooding the floor.

So close to Notre Dame!. The rooms look accurate from the other reviews. This hotel is so close to Notre Dame and has the best views from the rooms and the breakfast rooms. It’s just as you imagine. And the area around the hotel is fun and active - not to mention convenient metro and RER access. It’s on a very busy road - but it’s the best view of Notre Dame!. .
