Relaxing hotel. Stayed for 8 nights. Basic room with all that was required as we only used the hotel as a base for going to the primavera festival. Rooms need updating but very clean and tidy. Plenty hot water every morning for showers. Good selection at breakfast. Lovely staff on reception, in the breakfast room and cleaning services.
Only downfall was it is quite a distance away from both the main area of Barcelona and Parc Fòrum. Transport links are great during the day but between 2am and 5am not so good (time the festival
Ended each night). Would stay again if only visiting Barcelona for sight seeing but not for going to the festival.. .

The breakfast has a rich selection and all you'd need to have a good start into the day.. Some furtnitures in the non-premium-room look used and may have little defects..

A wonderful & memorable stay to enjoy Barcelona’s finest experience. In would like to strongly recommend “Catalonia Hotel & resorts property” in Barcelona, Spain.
Not only the location is very strategic: close to the Westfield Maquinista Mall outlet, Metro Red line & bus.
The Front desk & Housekeeping departments are very welcoming, super accommodating, attentive, upbeat & all have customer care training.
Mario, Sergui, Jordi, Linda & Khadija were excellent & very friendly when it comes to directions, recommendations & options
I apologize for those I missed the names as the property has really standards,Teamwork concepts & extra customer care approach.
Having come from the Hospitality field before, I can see that they are all highly trained in taking initiatives to make their guests happy & accommodate their stay.
The facility has a restaurant, bar, pool, fitness center, elevator, a Spa & fully a staffed desk.
The room cleanliness, design & lighting were impeccable.. .
