Weighing up the pros and cons. Location and facilities in the room.. There was no working lift (advertised there was a lift) i had to carry my suitcase up 3 floors and I was sick with a chest infection. The room was so small I couldn't open my suitcase properly, when I did get it open you could not use the kitchen..

Very good. The location and the cleanliness of the apartment.. The bunkbed was very noisy (squeaky) and instable. The curtains could not be closed. Is a third floor apartment (as was mentioned) but the elevator did not function..

Only if you are young, athletic and French (no non-French TV channels). Great location (central Paris), near many restaurants.
Clean room.. 1. The entrance doors do not always open when you key in the code - it requires several attempts (slow key-in, fast key-in, try all)
2. Renovation work is being done at the entrance so the floor is covered with plastic making it very dangerous to walk on - especially when you come in from the rain
3. Badly lit ground floor with two small steps that are covered with plastic. As a result, missed a step and fell sprawling down on the floor
4. In all the instructions helpfully provided by the property, the lift was not mentioned (it is there but it is carefully hidden in a corner). So, I climbed three floors with my luggage.
5. There is no lighting on the staircase as you climb it (except on Floor 1). So I had to climb with bags and with my mobile torch. VERY VERY dangerous climb
6. Instructions explicitly state that the wifi has no password but the wifi DOES need a password. As a result, I had to make an international call to the help desk and ask the password (which was quickly provided).
7. Be prepared for the constant hum of trains in the room.
8. The chairs in the room are not suitable for working - high chairs with very small back support
9. None of the TV channels are in English.

Small cozy apartment in an incredible location. Across the street from La Fayette! the location cannot be better. Surrounded by shops and restaurant and two minutes away from the opera and several metro stations.
The place has two beds/rooms a small kitchenette and small bathroom.. The place is small so can get stuffy if you stay in the room for long and the elevator is tiny, a stroller can barely fit..
