There was no calm and peaceful environment. When I went to my room, I saw that someone had smoked in the room. I had to change my room. Horrible 1 week stay for my family. Horrible 1 week stay for my family! We arrived in the hotel 27 Oct to 3rd Nov 2024. The 2 adjacent rooms (1016 and 1018 l, ground floor rooms) were so hot at 33°C and it only got cooler at night, we needed to stay in the lobby instead. On our first night our rooms were at 23°C all through the night, was not comfortable night sleep. Next morning I informed the reception staff about the problem, they said they will fix the problem. Same issues everyday, I needed to report it each morning. Not everyday that we go out in morning so we need to open the room doors just to cool down the rooms that people passing by can see us, no privacy during this time! At one point, we went back to our hotel around 2pm, even though we kept the AC on while we are out, room temp was as 32°C…
Park Inn Hotel claims they are 5 Star Hotel! This is now way a 5⭐️, been to many hotels and this would be a 2-3 stars only! We had a very horrible experience with this hotel.
Hotel staff are helpful but seems the problem in room temperature wasn’t rectified. Istanbul has a cooler temperature in October, imagine if you travel in this place during their summer season, Park Inn hotel room 1016 and 1018 will be like a furnace that you can bake a cake… would never consider this hotel on our next visit.. .
