Awful uncomfortable pillows. Hotel was fine, staff friendly and breakfast was good. Only criticism really was the pillows in our room. They were far too big and hard and when I asked for a flatter one it wasn't much better. See photos. So if you need or prefer a flatter pillow, take your own with you to get a comfy night's sleep. . .

. The hotel seems nice and has quite a number of facilities. It also has a lot of interesting things for kids.
I did not like the fact that there was just the 1 microwave for the whole hotel. There were a limited number of irons and you had to drop a security deposit to take the iron (never seen this before). Staff were quite unhelpful. I had to fight for early check in even though I was paying. There’s a notice at the front desk with times for shuttles to Disneyland yet when I called to confirm time the staff couldn’t even b bothered to check it. The elevator buttons could do with maintenance. . .

Doubt I would go again. Generally ok however there are things you should know before you book .
Breakfast buffet is like a cattle market , total chaos & food really not nice , I didn’t bother to go on our last morning as couldn’t face the noise .
Evening buffet not bad , meat was good & a good selection of started & puddings .
Pool was freezing so didn’t go in .
House keeping not good , bottles & rubbish left in corridors 2/3 days , broken glass also left in corridor , we had to remove this as it was left outside our room .
Air con does NOT work , rooms were hot so we had windows fully open which as we had a family room was incredibly dangerous. Pillow were like bricks .
We did have a great Disney break but could’ve been better .. .

Honest review from a travel agent. Don’t believe the negative reviews. Reception staff - super welcoming. Hotel - gorgeous. Rooms - lovely. Spacious and clean. Huge queen-size bed. Breakfast - they’re cater to the masses and try to please all nationalities. You aren’t going to get a traditional English breakfast in a French tourist hotel. Shuttle bus - yes can be very busy. But I don’t see how that is the hotels fault? They collect from all of the hotels and the business is a reflection of the time of day. Pool - gorgeous. Play area for the kids - big, indoors, safe and they all loved it. In fact many kids preferred it to the parks.
I send all of my clients and my own family here. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else.
Thank you Dream Castle.. .

Absolutely Horrendous Experience – Do Not Stay Here. I honestly don’t even know where to start with how awful this hotel is. We booked this stay for my daughter’s 3rd birthday – it was meant to be such a special trip – but instead, the experience at this hotel has completely ruined it.
We arrived expecting a comfortable stay for our family of three, only to be given a room with just a double bed. We had specifically booked for three people. When we questioned this at reception, we were told our daughter (who is three next week!) was only entitled to a cot. Their own website clearly says only children under two are in cots, but they didn’t care at all. Instead, they sent up a travel cot that was disgusting – dirty, full of holes, and completely unfit for a child.
As if that wasn’t enough, our room had grasshoppers in it. When we complained, the duty manager came over and I have never met a ruder person in my life. She was dismissive, argumentative, and made us feel like we were the problem. All she did was tell us to “contact Love Holidays,” who later confirmed that yes, we should have had a proper bed for our daughter. Still no apology, no help, nothing.
We tried to make the best of it and went to Disney, which was wonderful, but when we came back our room absolutely stank. Housekeeping had left a pillow on the bed that was literally covered in vomit. The smell was unbearable. When we went to reception again, that same manager claimed it wasn’t sick, just “an old pillow.” I can assure you it was not – it was vile, and our entire room stank because of it. Yet again, no apology, no care, nothing.
This hotel completely destroyed what should have been a magical birthday trip for my little girl. The staff are rude beyond belief, the rooms are unhygienic, and the management simply do not care about their guests. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Please, if you are thinking about staying here – don’t. You will regret it.. .

An Honest Review of Dream Castle. An Honest Review of Dream Castle
The lobby smells amazing and is smart looking and looks upmarket but this is where the upmarket facade ends.
We arrived from CDG on the late flight along with several other families - I’m a frequent flyer for work and can assure you this is a regularly operated service, so will not be news to dream castle.
There was nobody at reception, so I went to the bar to ask, I was rudely asked to wait. It was now approaching midnight with 2 grumpy teenagers and a 10 year old, 25mins later I was throw my keys and told my room number, no offer of luggage help, no directions, no information on the bus shuttles - nothing..
So we got lost in the sprawling maze that is Dream Castle, 30mins later we arrived exhausted in our mediocre room.
The rooms are tired especially the carpets. I recommend packing slippers. The bathrooms are dated but clean enough that I could stay in it but I would not say immaculate, if I had a toddler who was likely touch everything or crawl I would not stay here.
Breakfast is a riot, we arrived at 8am for breakfast, prepare your for plastic plates and cups for all guests, double dipped yoghurt, young guests unsupervised - so hands everywhere touching the food, parental supervision is absent and food is accessible height for kids. The tables and ambiance of the breakfasting space is poor.
If you are diabetic or have dietary restrictions forget this hotel, labelling is poor, staff are stressed, rude and don’t care you will get a shrug or told toast? I spoke with the restaurant manager and they told me there was nothing they could do.
The free coffee is undrinkable and I am not fussy.
Conversely, the bar menu is good as is the patisserie at the bar but you’ll pay a significant premium. They also have a Starbucks vending machine behind the bar which meant I could cope - at a price.
The young staff do their best but you can see they handle a lot of complaints to get defensive very quickly.
The Disney shuttle bus service is fine in the morning but after the fireworks it was terrible and absolutely terrifying- I believe guests should be expelled for the behaviour I saw across the fabulous hotel’s estate bus. Pushing and shoving and a full on fist fight broke out in the evening I was there. It was disastrous and disgusting behaviour that was dangerous.
I spoke with Lizzie the manager on my first day and LoveHolidays my provider and although sympathetic that was all, nothing was offered to compensate.
Can’t comment on the pool as we didn’t use it but I saw guests complaining about broken lockers.
It’s sad, as I believe that this hotel was once a proper 4 star but it has since deteriorated- I don’t believe it’s beyond saving but it needs a full carpet and upholstery clean, that is the thing that makes the hotel feel grotty, the second priority needs to be room maintenance and perhaps bathroom refreshment.
The breakfast space needs updating- proper plates and matching cutlery, nicer furniture and enforcement of child supervision.
Breakfast needs reimagined with better quality, healthier foods.
The nighttime arrival experience needs retraining completely.
I really hope the management do something as this hotel could be saved.. .

Good base to stay local links to val de Europe and free shuttle to Disneyland. Standard accommodation would say a good 3* at best
Reception blows you away
But that’s about it
Rooms are spacious we had a small glitch with our check in due to package company not merging details over but reception team handled it well.
Rooms clean but a bit out dated old mould on grout in bathrooms and carpets stained in room floors however beds made and place is pretty clean for a base to sleep that’s local to Disneyland
Free shuttle is fantastic and during half term it was every 15mins
Breakfast- it’s a bit of a wild one and a free for all- no rules people going down wearing pjs etc- food was minimal suppose I expected a bit more for a proclaimed 4* (I’m coeliac) so need to have a gluten free diet they catered with cereal some bread a brownie and some cookies (but couldn’t do much with that as no allergens on the food labels) from the buffet so survived on cereal
Food in hotel is expensive no GF options but daughter had sweet potato fries and a Cajun brioche sandwich €22 but she enjoyed it and said it was nice
It was a good base not sure if I’d stay again would all depend on the price of time of booking. .

Fab hotel…. Shuttle from hell. Fantastic stay at the dream castle hotel! I’m not sure what some of the negative reviews are about really, not one member of staff has been rude and there were plenty of options at breakfast too. We arrived at 11 and our room was ready for us despite check in from 3pm and it wasn’t a room that no one wanted as I saw on previous review, it was lovely. My only advice is re the shuttle to Disney, I’d recommend using Ubers which cost between 11 to 15 euros. The shuttle bus is practically the hunger games and isn’t big enough for all of the hotels it serves.. .

Great trip. We stayed here at the end of Jan and honestly i cant fault this hotel. It was really clean and the rooms were great beds very comfortable. We arrived at 11am on the day of our check in and the check in staff were so very nice and out room was even ready which was a nice surprise. We loved the bar at night after a long day at the park and the bar man always remembered our order from the previous day. The kids indoor play part was great our 7 year old daughter loved it and made some friends which was great after a really busy day. We had breakfast every morning and it was never to busy and the food was always really good. We used the bus service everyday and cant complain at all. Overall we loved our stay and will most definitely be back.. .
