Give this place a pass. Rooms and general appearance of the hotel was ok and looked to be more recently redone. The room was comfortable generally, with really good a/c and was quite roomy and clean. Mine faced the street and was VERY noisy, particularly one night. The hotel seems to favor groups and was insufficiently prepared to accommodate the crowds at breakfast every day I was there. No seats available!! The breakfast fruit had one kind of melon that was alternately overripe and/or left with pieces of the rind still on. Few choices to be had among the runny scrambled eggs and greasy bacon. Cereal and bread products were slim and look institutional. Most of the pastries tasted not fresh and similar to each other. The natural yogurt was good. I wouldn't stay here again.. .

Expected more from a 4 star hotel. The location is convenient for reaching the popular destinations in Rome. The room was large, and the beds were comfortable.. The decoration is outdated. Everything in the minifridge was for extra. The staff could be more polite..

Well located but most of the rooms require maintenance. Hotel with a decent design, well-located close to Roma Termini but I still believe that the value received does not outperform the money paid. It’s my 7th visit this year and I’m a bit disappointed. 1. The staff at the reception are low-ken arrogant 2. The management have decided to turn the ventilation off. I’m not talking about AC, I do mean ventilation. I called the receptionist and she pretended to listen to me but kept giving excuses about why Rome is overall warmer this period of the year compared to last year.. 3. We had to sleep with our windows open… we could hear everything happening on the reception floor. There was a party and it was hard for me and my 6 other colleagues (occupying 6 other rooms) to get a decent sleep. Despite the fact that it’s almost winter, it was suffocating hot in the room and sleeping was hard even with open windows which is not acceptable nor excusable for an outstanding hotel like this one. The value is not worth the money !!!. .

Perfect Stay.. My family of 5 and I just returned to the states from our great stay in Rome. We stayed at Starshotrl Metropole and had a wonderful experience from beginning to end. They were extremely communicative and responded to all of my emails before our arrival including finding a cooking class for us. Also, at our request the hotel was able to arrange a private car service to meet us at the at the airport to take us to the hotel. The car service was a prompt sprinter van. Upon arrival ,the hotel check-in was great I’d requested two rooms because we were traveling with our adult child and two teen children. Our rooms were perfectly located in the corner of the hotel that had a private door that once you opened there were two separate rooms ,providing us with an extra sense of coziness , closeness and privacy .The hotel is perfectly located around the corner from the main termini train station . We were also able to walk in about 20 minutes to the Colosseum to the Madonna Majore , Saint Peter in chains church and many other activities including, souvenirs andamazing gelato shops . The great hotel staff provided us with a map of Rome and informed us how to get everywhere and when taxi service was needed they would arrange for the car service. Breakfast was a great spread of your typical American cuisine bacon and eggs but also a nod to Roman cuisine with stewed beans and chicory and for my children’s joy there was loads of croissants , snd pastries of all different types and Nutella everywhere. The hotel is also located next to many restaurants, the one on the corner caters to a more tourist vibe but right down the the block is a wonderful authentic Roman restaurant Amedeo and around the corner from Bianca Gallina the best pizza ever!! Rome is definitely a city for walking which made returning back to the hotel and the incredibly deep soaking tubs an extra plus . Dinner at the hotel was tasty as well everything’s so fresh you can taste the flavors. As a New York New Jersey girl I don’t think I’ve ever been told that we couldn’t get something because it was sold out that’s how fresh the food was. The staff was efficient and kind. The manager Alessandro and his team were incredible hosts to us. They made us feel like family from the time we entered the hotel until we left and made sure all of our needs were met. Overall it was an excellent experience and an amazing stay From the proximity to all major sites and the beauty of the hotel itself it was truly a pleasure to stay at stars hotel Metropole. I would recommend it to everyone and anyone and we intend to return there again.. .

Perfect hotel in a great location!. Loved the rooms. Very clean, nice mini bar, great housekeeping staff. Loved the pillow menu and the heart chocolates. Great bathroom. Front desk staff was nice and the lobby was very welcoming. Everything was great.

Location to train was excellent for travelling. Comfortable hotel to stay.. Good location and comfortable hotel with adequate facilities. Room comfortable and clean. Breakfast offered a good selection of dishes.. .
