Solo holiday made better by staff. This was my first solo holiday and I was overwhelmed by the kindness and attentiveness of some of the staff particularly when they knew that I was traveling alone. Pedro who works in the bar is by far the hotels greatest asset. Always smiling, addressed me by name and took time to check I was ok. The hotel as a whole is beautiful, extremely clean and my room was cleaned daily and towels changed as needed, and the bonus that the milk was replenished daily which isn't always the case in some hotels. I was all inclusive, the food was generally good, and always something that I liked. Breakfast was the best meal of the day, the only criticism would be that food was not always hot. The pictures of the pool are quite deceptive as it as not as big as it looks, and it was absolutely freezing even when the sun had been on it all day. I only managed to go in 3 times! Plenty of sunlounger. The hotel is quite isolated from the small town and as it was dark by 8 pm I didn't really get to explore much (it was too hot to go far in the day) but it was nice to relax and have a chat during the evening.. .

Not impressed. Let’s start with the positives. Hotel was very nice, very modern and very clean. Location was good, less than 10 mins to the beach and close to shops, bars and restaurants if you needed them. But that's where it stops! We like fully inclusive because everything is taken care of. Unfortunately it wasn’t. Fully inclusive was very complicated at the hotel. In fact there was actually an All inclusive Plus which added to the confusion! Usually fully inclusive means you get to drink and eat most things in the restaurant and bar but that was not the case in the Sumus Hotel. And even more confusing, what was on offer in the bar wasn’t necessarily the same as the restaurant! There were numerous times that we realised the staff had brought out different drinks to what we ordered and we worried we would get charged for them. And the food in the bar was very limited. You couldn’t even get a packet of peanuts without being charged. We’ve never been to an all-inclusive where not all the food was available to the all-inclusive customer. And to finish it off, the food was awful, awful, awful. Yep the fruit and salad was nice as you’d expect because the staff didn’t need to do anything to them. But the vast majority of food was either under cooked or over cooked. And then out left for ages. This without doubt is the worst food we’ve ever eaten at a hotel. We even had to eat out at another restaurant because we just couldn’t eat any more of the awful food. This hotel doesn’t deserve the high rating it has.. .

Мені дуже сподобався комфорт готелю і атмосфера.Дуже зручне ліжко з мастрасом,чиста і зручна ванна кімната.Все настільки продумано до дрібниць: водичка в номері, сумочка для спа, чайник, холодильник,косметичні засоби, смачний снiданок і кава.Подарунковий напій при заїзді і бутилочка води при виїзді. Мені надали мат для йоги ,коли я запитала де я можу позайматися йогою.Ось ці всі дрібниці вони справили дуже приємне враження і відчуття.Комфортний басейн, бар,близько пляж і жд станція.Просто чудово .Чудовий персонал.Дякую. Рушники в ванній кімнаті були трішки зношені.Але це нія не вплинуло на сій відпочинок.

Fantástico!. És un hotel muy bien situado, cerca de la estación de tren y de la playa y instalaciones muy bien reformadas. Habitaciones claras, de buen tamaño y con detalles de bienvenida. Camas confortables. El personal és muy atento y la comida muy variada y de buena calidad. Buena relación calidad-precio.. .

Highly Recommended 5 stars. Stayed in this little gem tucked away in the town of Pineda de Mar, close to town, close to amenities including train station, service was first class, nothing was too much trouble. Cleaning service most days including clean towels. Bar and pool service and food was delightful. All of the staff were helpful and friendly and made is feel very welcome.. .
