Fun hotel with great staff worth about $500/night, not $1K. Property is cool. Room is decent. Bathroom in room is very dated. Restaurant is good. Staff is great. Hard to say if it’s a 5-star property, probably not; but def not worth a $1K/nt. We dramatically overpaid.. .

Generally, very good place to stay in the heart of Barcelona. Breakfast was good quality with a reasonable variety. The location was great with lots of attractions ( rambla, marina etc) a few minutes away on foot.. We did not like the coffee. Both in the breakfast and in the room the coffee was really weak and I think this something that can be easily fixed. I also thought that the lighting in the breakfast area was really poor..

Charming and sophisticated hotel in the heart of the Gothic Quarter. The Hotel Neri was a charming gem tucked away in the winding streets of the Gothic Quarter. It offered a cozy, sophisticated atmosphere with exceptional service. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and Thomas, Titianna, and Ellie made my daughter and me feel like VIPs throughout our entire stay. I highly recommend staying at The Hotel Neri.. .

Fabulous hotel. We stayed here for our honeymoon. What a fabulous hotel. Everything was first class. Staff were really lovely. Will definitely return. Had dinner the first night there which was very tasty. The decor was amazing and our room, a suite was very comfy. Thank you.. .

Beautiful property with excellent location in the Gothic district. Our family of 4 stayed in one of the 1 bedroom apartments across the street from the main hotel. We had a bedroom w/bathroom (nice walk in shower), living room w/ pullout, kitchen/dining area (that was nicely appointed with supplies) and a view of a gothic district street. Beds very comfortable, and luxury robes w slippers also provided. Outdoor area provided on rooftop of both buildings. Many security features to get into building/ apartment. Very high class property with unique features built in 12th century palace. Very attentive front desk staff as well as high quality bar and restaurant onsite (that was very spacious and quiet compared to some nearby). Tons of nice shops and restaurants nearby in both the Gothic and El born district. Also a fairly easy walk to the waterfront district. The uniqueness of this property and neighborhood really contributed to our overall experience in Barcelona, and we would definitely stay here again.. Be aware that many taxis will not drop you off at the hotel but a few minutes walk away. However the hotel is able to directly summon a taxi to their door for pickup..

The hotel is suitable for those traveling for tourism purposes for two days, who don’t have a lot of luggage and don’t p. The staff is very friendly, and the design is simple yet charming.. 1. Taxis do not come directly to the hotel, and if you plan to take a taxi during the day, you will need to cross a fairly busy square on foot. 2. The rooms are quite small, and as a result, there was not enough space for two suitcases. 3. Water in the shower flows simultaneously from both showerheads (the overhead rain shower and the regular handheld one), and it cannot be adjusted. 4. Breakfasts: In the morning, if you happen to arrive at breakfast at the same time as many others, be prepared for a long wait, and some items on your breakfast order may be mixed up or not brought at all..
