Walkable to Gare du Nord. This location is walkable from the Gare du Nord station. We got there and the room was a little warm but did eventually cool down. People working there were very friendly. No problems.. .

Decent quality for the price and well located.. Well located for the Gard du Nord and within easy walking distance of many decent bars and restaurants. You can walk to most of the major sights in under an hour too.
The room was small but bigger than some I’ve stayed in at this price in a city centre.
Breakfast was better than expected.
All the staff were helpful and friendly with good English (putting my poor French to shame!).. .

Close to Gare du Nord. There isn't very much to comment about ibis hotels themselves, an ibis is an ibis. The things to comment on regarding ibis hotels are the location and the service.
The service: The lady at the reception could not find my booking even though I spelled my name phonetically and slowly. Then she wanted to see a printout of my booking. I told her that I do not have the printout with me. Then she was able to find it after all with the help of my passport.
On a positive note, we did manage to have an early check-in at 12noon.
The location: Practical for Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est, both within 5 to 7 minutes walk.. .

. It was acceptable for the price and location to venues we were visiting at the time. The rooms were very basic and limited amenities. Free WiFi and 24 hour bar is bonus. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. We had to change rooms and it was no issue at all.. .

. Great Gare du Nord location (but there are 3 or so Ibis hotels closer). Clean. Breakfast not a great value. A/c worked but was governed to not get cold enough for my taste. The room was small but as expected for the price and location. Would stay again!. .

Short stay for a city break. It would have been nice to have a kettle to make tea/coffee in the morning. A few more towels and a flannel would have been good, albeit, the towels were changed every day.
