Average hotel great location. Room is small , lift was not working on the first day of arrival , kettle was not working although i asked to replace it many times. Room had no minibar till i asked for one! The location is great with direct access to the cadet metro station and all the nearby attractions. .

Noisy arrondissement. Stayed at Hotel Opera Lafayette with Cadet Metro Station nearby. Within a 15 minute walk from Gare du Nord Train Station with a slight downhill slope walking towards the Hotel but will be uphill going back! The hotel room we were given on arrival was on the second floor at the front of the hotel, The room was clean, the bathroom seemed newly renovated, had a great over head rainfall shower,l and a hairdryer and toiletries. Kettle in room. Two huge french windows with a balcony and view of the street and square across the road. All seemed great but unfortunately the road noise was too loud for us and we didn't get any sleep. Hotel staff were helpful and gave us the key cards for two other rooms we could possibly move to. We chose Room 21 still on the second floor but at the back of the hotel, windows could be opened for air but no view, the bathroom was not newly renovated but we did get a better sleep even tho we could feel and hear the metro underneath the hotel, that is just one of those things the hotel can't change. In Room 21 the shower was powerful it just took a while to get the hot water through, the hairdryer would cut out on high so it took forever to dry my hair on the low setting and there were some small toiletries. When using the kettle in the room I had to keep my finger on the button to boil, two small bottles of water, two paper cups and no coffee satchets just some tea. Even tho the room was cleaned no more paper cups we left were so had to go to reception for some more. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel as there are plenty of boulangeries nearby plus a Starbucks up the road. Well located but basic hotel for you to explore Paris. Would I return probably not as I have stayed in quieter areas of Paris. It's just a different experience to be more central.. .

Poor hotel with nice location. In the summer of 2022, the hotel had a favorable location near a metro station, making it convenient for transportation. However, the room was notably small, lacked adequate amenities, and was considered poor value for money. Additionally, found the receptionist to be unhelpful during their stay.. .
