Perfect for our stay.. Perfect for our stay.
Myself and my son stayed here for our 1st visit to Rome. Upon arrival we were given a very warm and engaging welcome. The hotel is situated 20 mins outside the centre.
The hotel seems to cater primarily for tour groups and business users, however we were made to feel at home.
The rooms were clean and well presented. The beds were comfortable.
The breakfast was just what we needed. Breads, meats cheese, fruit, raw honey, cereals and all the usual drinks. The staff were also excellent.
I found the staff to be very helpful. They were great in recommending places to eat within the city as we had limited time there.
We did eat at the bar on our last day. I had the Pizza and my son had a Burger. This food was definitely as good as any of the other food we had eaten in Rome.
I did note some of the negative reviews on here but unfortunately managing large groups of people can be a bit like herding cattle! So Pineta Palace do not be too disheartened by these reviews you looked after us very well. So thank you.
Anyone staying here and who wants to nip in and out of the city take the number 49 bus which is 10 mins walk from the hote. This bus will drop you off (last stop so you can't get lost) at the Piazza Cavour which is a wonderful spot - from there you can walk into the city centre and drain the battery in your phone as you take a million and one pictures of the neverending sculptures and jaw dropping buildings.

Good. The hotel was clean, the staff were so gentle and kind.. -The breakfast was really poor, there was no vegetables or different kind of cheese.
-There was a city tax (7.5€ for person per night) that wasn't included in the reservation payment.
-The room wasn't sound proof, so you could hear any noise coming from other rooms..

Pathetic and worst hotel ever. We have just checked in, with a travel group. Worst hotel ever. At the entrance lobby, the Staff was rude. Literally yelling to move inside and clapping their hands in disgust upon delay on our end as we had baggage.
The room (I am in 323) is a depressing room with tacky old furniture and furnishings, no plug point on either side of the bed to charge the phone, a tiny AC vent and it's been 1 hr already and the room is still hot. Finally our tour guide was kind enough to exchange his room with ours and that room was much better. Still not a 4star worthy room.. .

Average stay. It wasn’t the best experience. Okey the prices were good for Rome but the hotel has many disadvantages. First the location isn’t the best. If you want to go to Rome downtown you have first to take a bus or walk 20min and then take the metro, which will last in total 30-50min. Secondly you cannot control the heat from your room by yourself as it has a central heating system controlled by stuff. Every night I was waking up duo to freezing cold. Last but not least the drains in the bathroom was smelling a lot something that was making the bath not so pleasant. But in general the room was clean and the staff was helpful. .
