Six Senses Rome: Luxury, History, and Aesthetic Vibes.. If staying at Six Senses Rome was a sport, my wife and I would be gold medalists in never wanting to leave. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like VIPs—or maybe long-lost relatives they were thrilled to see again. They’re that friendly, that helpful, and somehow always appear at just the right moment. The design? Imagine a Roman palace had a glow-up: sleek stone finishes, lush indoor greenery, and a vibe that’s both effortlessly cool and deeply relaxing. Our room was a stunner, but the real crown jewel was the spa and Roman baths—absolute heaven. We spent so much time soaking and unwinding that we may now be officially too relaxed to function in the real world. And let’s talk about the best modern touch: their text service. Need an extra towel? A dinner reservation? Perhaps just a kind word of encouragement after too much pasta? A simple text, and boom—problem solved. No awkward phone calls required. The location is another major win. You can practically wave at the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon is a quick stroll away, and Palazzo Venezia is right there—so sightseeing is a breeze (and so is grabbing another scoop of gelato). Bottom line: Six Senses Rome is the place to stay if you want a perfect mix of history, luxury, and “How is this even real?” level hospitality. Would give it six stars if I could!. .

Amazing spa !. Went with a friend for a spa experience and I can say it was truly wonderful! Beatrice at the spa desk was not only very professional but so friendly and made us feel very welcome with her warm & natural approach. We had a “candle massage” which was superlative . Again, very professional masseuses and every detail was meticulously looked after from the beginning to the end . Well done !. .

Overall, a very poor experience with the hotel offering nothing other than uninterested staff. Nothing to like other than the location.. The rooms are not well designed. Our suite didn't have any walk-in closet and there are no fruits or refreshments for snacking which is a standard for ultra-luxury suites. The check-in is nice but the staff doesn't care about you post check-in. Everyone - Concierge, the lobby boys (in white t-shirt) and the breakfast area staff is more interested in talking over you. The Concierge messed up our booking for guided tour to the Colosseum and would not even offer an apology. The lobby boys are there just to stare at you other than rarely saying a 'Ciao'. We asked for a scissors for my kid as he was making some drawings and the lobby boy that brought it was unhappy that we didn't return it immediately. During our 5 nights stay, he would simply stare at us. The breakfast area staff needs to learn how to wear a smile. They felt extremely uninterested in their job. One of the waitress folded our napkins while we were still eating. Please get your staff trained in basic hygiene. The breakfast menu is extremely limited. During the check-out, we waited for 20-25 minutes for our luggage to be brought down. Overall, a very poor experience with the hotel offering nothing special other than uninterested staff. I could not find a single staff who appears to have any experience..
