Exceptional. I was very impressed by this place. I will most definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the city. The staff was friendly and professional. The bed was also very comfortable. The room stinks from the humidity and doesn't look anything like the pictures on the internet!
I'm asthmatic and when I asked for a room change I was told the hotel was full. All they could say was: open the windows at 1 a.m. and they wouldn't give us our money back.
Never, never, never go to this hotel!. .

Poor, dirty, smelly hotel. The front of the hotel looks very nice, but in a run down area.
The rooms are ok, looks like they've had a renovation at some point but already showing wear and tear.

That's the positives done.
Now with the negatives.
The breakfast has to be the poorest breakfast I've ever seen and eaten and I've been to some poor countries (Gambia / Goa).
The restaurant is always dirty with dirty plates left by the previous guests. The staff just sit in the kitchen whilst the plates pile up.
The breakfast area which is advertised as open buffet is basically a plate consisting of plastic feeling meat, feta cheese, olives, 1 boiled egg, 1 /4 of a tomato and 2 slices of cucumber., and 4 small pots of condiments (jam, honey, chocolate spread, margarine). Accompanied by a basket of stale bread
Beverages consist of Tea and instant coffee, coffee mate and cherry juice.
There is a lot of wastage due to the fact your breakfast is plated and you do not have a choice!
Some floors smell of sewerage.
The toilets in the communal area (below the lobby) are disgraceful.
I think the reviews given on booking.com arent genuine. If you take time to read through them you'll see that a lot of the reviews are word for word.. .
