Exceptional. Everything was absolutely perfect—from the amazing location to the exceptional staff, cleanliness, and delicious food. Wonderful!. The location of the hotel was perfect! Only steps from the Grand Bazaar, clean, efficient public transport (tram) with a beautiful perk Gurlan only 3 stops away! The manager of the hotel made me feel right at home and indeed like a princess….room upgrade with balcony view of a mosque, a fresh fruit plate on arrival, etc. He answered every question I had and acted as a wonderful tour guide. The breakfast buffet is very sumptuous! The pool, sauna and steam room were an additional bonus!. The van service I used wasn’t allowed on the partially pedestrian street where the hotel is so we had to walk a bit with luggage..

Great location disappointed otherwise.. Great location with very friendly reception staff, that’s where the positives end.
The breakfast was plentiful but cold and that includes the ‘hot’ food. The juices were watered down cordial and the Turkish tea was awful, I am particularly fond of Turkish tea.
None of the staff interact or smile in the breakfast area.
The hotel is old and tired and the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired.
The Spa is a joke with a tiny pool and more than 6/8 people is overcrowded. You also need a swimming cap and privacy in the changing rooms is not good.
Our room was in the front of the hotel and particularly noisy due to passing trams and the guy who sells ice cream in the shop below. Proper double glazing would be helpful.
Our bathroom was basic with no area for storing basics like tooth brushes, razor, cosmetics, etc.
Our shower leaked badly through the door seal causing a massive slippery puddle in the middle of the floor. We did report this but fixing the drain was not the problem.. .
