A remarkable stay in the heart of Istanbul, blending upscale elegance with breathtaking views.. Unlike many Istanbul listings on Booking.com that boast high ratings and beautiful photos—which can sometimes be misleading—this hotel was a delightful exception. It’s an elegant and upscale property with a stunning view overlooking the restaurant. Its central location, right in the heart of the city and near the spice market, might explain some of the negative reviews, but my wife and I were truly overwhelmed by how exceptional the hotel was.. couldnt tell anything much.

Amazing as always never fails to deliver. The hotel is in a prime position close to the spice market. It has been beautifully converted and retains all of its historical charm. The whole front of house team are truly magnificent and a huge asset to the hotel. Nothing is too much trouble and incredibly friendly whilst still remaining professional. The hotel also boasts one of the best restaurants in the city with an amazing atmosphere and ambience. Finally the coffee shop attached to the hotel is also wonderful.. .

Nice historical place with comfortable stay.. Hotel is newly renovated being built upon a restaurant which is the only hotel facility. No other facilities are there based on the venue is a historical building. So, yes, no elevator. Yet the staff will help with the luggage. Good service in all. Room is spacious, clean and well equipped. Downsides are: 1: Need to climb narrow stairs. 2: Tea bags in room are not refilling properly. I found very old tea bags that looked like trash. 3: Wifi is weak. Could not used half the time. 4: Breakfast is just average, not as shown in the hotel’s picture. With the room rate, breakfast should be better. Can choose either tea or coffee. I asked to have a coffee after some tea, the waiter said it would be an extra charge. Juice is also charged extra. I would recommend this hotel if the rate is within a hundred us dollar. It cannot be a five star hotel but a nice and comfortable one with good location and service.. .

Fab stay… such a shame about the noise.. This is a tricky review to write as generally the hotel stay was fantastic. However the evening noise really ruined the experience for us. It’s a gorgeous hotel in a lovely building. There’s not many rooms, giving it a more independent boutique vibe to it. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Check in and out was a very easy process. The room was very clean and very spacious. A lot of storage space, and a nicely done bathroom with good water pressure and temperature. Daily room service. Mini bar and free tea/coffee/bottled water. We got breakfast included with was a set menu and it was excellent. Variety of cheeses, eggs, dips, breads and salad, with either tea or coffee. Really tasty and really filling. The wifi was a bit patchy but nothing significant. The setting of the hotel is lovely. The rooms are upper floor surrounding the dining area in a courtyard style. Which brings me to the only negative - but unfortunately it impacted our stay. The restaurant is open to non-guests and in the evening is open to midnight, 00:30 on weekends. And throughout the evening the restaurant plays very loud music - almost like a bar. Not very relaxing, and not conducive to sleep. We got around it - we started the day late and stayed out late however I’m a good sleeper and can sleep though a lot but needed ear plugs if the music was still going. The noise level does not seem appropriate for a hotel. It’s very weird - all the hotel needs to do is turn the volume down maybe from 10:30/11pm onwards - I think this would be much more reasonable. If it weren’t for the music I’d be giving this hotel a 5 star glowing review. If you think you can deal with the noise, or you’re up for joining them, then I’d definitely recommend this hotel.. .

Amazing property with fabulous staff but the restaurant is great for a photo but leave it at that.. Amazing property in excellent location. The reception staff are amazing.. The restaurant / bar is not managed by the hotel and whilst the place is stunning, the service is far from it. We arrived late at night, were reluctantly served a drink and made to feel very unwelcome..

Amazing stay. We loved it. The staff was amazing. Went above and beyond to help out. Location also perfect as everything else within easy access.. The smoke that comes from the outside. Turns out Turkish like their cigarettes.
