Honest review. The hotel was beautiful on arrival and we had very high hopes. Our room was big and very clean, again, very happy with the hotel so far. However, after spending 10 days, there were a few things that bothered us. - coffee stopped being served at 9am, even though breakfast was open until 10:30am apparently. When my husband asked he was told “no coffee after 9am” and that was it. - breakfast was very basic and the only bread that was available was slices of a baguette, no other options. - 3 days in a row, there was no butter, and after asking twice, still no butter was provided. So we had to buy our own, staff noticed but didn’t seem to care. - a few mornings there were no knives, sometimes no forks, so we were having to use spoons for eating eggs ect. - our safe broke, even though the code was a very memorable number that neither is us would forget. - Half way through my shower one morning, at 10:30am, it completely went off. My husband went down to reception to see what is happening and was told “they are testing the pipes, just use a kettle” my husband suggested that maybe they should let guests know so they wouldn’t be left half washed in the shower. But the receptionist just shrugged. - Staff kept promising us free coffee, free omelettes and free refreshments for this hassle, and even though we didn’t care about getting them, there was no effort to uphold what was said. - You can hear other guests while you are in your room, people come back late and are loud, which wakes others up. The walls are far too thin. We were also awakened one morning at 6:30am from staff retrieving things from the cleaning cupboard that was next to our room. They were loud and chatting like it was normal to at that time with guests sleeping right there. The good things about this hotel is that it was very clean and the rooms were done every day with fresh towels. Some staff were friendly and greeted us coming and going from the hotel. We possibly might have to come back to Istanbul, but we certainly won’t be staying here again.. .

Not recommended. No way. Our group of 8 stayed at Jaf Hotel, and our experience was extremely disappointing: 1. Incorrect breakfast charges and financial pressure: Breakfast was paid for two people, and only two elderly guests used it. A third person only went to the buffet to assist the elderly guests and did not eat breakfast. When we raised the issue, the hotel management refused to acknowledge it and added an extra €45 per day for three more people. Ultimately, we had to pay €160 to be able to check out. 2. Threatening behavior from management: After we refused to pay the extra charges, our room doors were blocked, and we had to contact the tourist police. Unfortunately, none of the officers spoke English, and we had to rely on Google Translate to communicate. 3. Unacceptable cleanliness and room conditions: • Rooms were not cleaned for three days and had a very unpleasant odor. • Feces were found on the bathroom door. • In the double room, there was only one bath towel and no hand soap, no shampoo or shower stuffs. • On the last night, we had to spend the night in a room with a foul smell. 4. My Wonderful Stay.. I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, close to everything, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The room was spacious, very comfortable, and spotlessly clean. Everything was well taken care of. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place.. .

Excellent hotel with good customer service. Very good location as it's minutes away from metro & bus station. Many amenities around. It's quiet in the evening. Room has cleaned everyday. Staff was very friendly and helpful. . .
