To be avoided. Good The only redeeming things were that the bed was comfy and the room clean. One young man on reception was friendly as were the cleaning team, they were a shining light in an otherwise very poor hotel.

Bad The whole hotel was very poor and definitely not 4*. Facillities were terrible, at the time of booking we checked their website and they stated that they had a bar and world class conference facilities. They had neither. The breakfast room comprised of a few tables squashed in a corner because they had the rest of it partitioned off with plasterboard. Breakfast was really poor quality and luke warm. Water was served in warm children's cartons. Our room was adjacent to a building site which they failed to mention, hammer drills and angle grinders started early in the morning and went on all day. We were provided with one flat pillow so we asked for more, they had not been sent so we went to reception. We were aggressively told they had been sent, it transpires they had been delivered to another room. Outside the area was filthy dirty with black bags piled high along the streets. The hotel workers would sit on the steps of the hotel drinking beer and smoking. We were in the middle of a plumbing district, with no bars, restaurants or shops. Perhaps suited only to the business traveller for one night, due to the lack of facilities as it was a 15 min walk to get a tram into town. At night it was really oppressive, our guide on the first day suggested that we did not walk home even in a group and said a taxi would be preferable. We complained and were told if we were not happy to speak to Booking.com, so we asked Booking.com for help but they said they couldn't because the hotel would not respond to them. They said we needed to speak to Depiero who kept saying we needed to speak to BC. We said we would like to leave but were prepared to pay 24 hours notice but would like the remainder of our money back. We escalated to B.com who still refused saying speak to Depiero, they just always said manager is not in. So we ended up checking out and having to pay at considerable expense to stay somewhere safer. Feeling very let down by Booking.com and Hotel Depiero.. .

Depiero hotel karakoy is so bad hotel. Service 0 first of all rooms are so small even for economy like there is no space for our 4 luggage with no windows in room and air condition is controlled by reception also we can what people say even if they are in floor 3 and elevator sometimes work and sometime complementary water was given only first day overall its very bad hotel and we got cheated on from the pictures. .

Value for money. Decent breakfast, clean and cozy room, very nice staff, position (with some comments). The location. The area is perfect (near the centre and the main attractions) but is located on a dirty street with many construction tool shops and some construction sites. The building. You can hear absolutely everything so if you want a quiet time it’s not for you. You can hear what others are talking in the other rooms, on the hallway and so on..

Awesome!. It was amazing!!! It was the best decision, cuz the location is so nice, all stops for all kinds of public transportation are in 5 min walk. When we have arrived the Receptionist welcomed us so warmly, proposed to have breakfast and wait until the room would be ready (we arrived at about 9-10 am), so it was early check in. It was so nice ! The breakfast is very delicious!!! The room is clean. The bathroom is nice and clean. The hair conditioner was also nice and smelled good! No problems with water. It was very good! We are satisfied, next time I think I will choose this hotel for sure. The only minus is the street where the hotel is located. BUT we were in Istanbul during the meetings outside and all unrest , so in this kind of situation nobody was interested in this street and it was quite nice to be a bit beyond the very city center and attractions. Be fairly, the window view is poor :) but we have no need of the view actually, so generally we liked 10/10. .

The Worst stay in one Hotel in my life.. Nichts. I had an extremely disappointing stay at this hotel. The entrance area was dirty and repulsive. Inside, the room’s bed sheets were stained and appeared unwashed. The view from the window was not as advertised, opening to a dirty ruin, forcing us to keep it closed. The bathroom facilities were dysfunctional, with leaking showers poorly fixed with tape, and the toilet didn’t work properly. The room’s windows were not sealed properly, allowing polluted and smoky air to enter, posing a significant health hazard. Despite raising these issues from the first day, the reception falsely claimed to have escalated them, and no resolution was provided. We even contacted the police, who did not respond. This hotel severely affected our stay, and I would not recommend it to anyone..

It was good experience to stay at lovely hotel.. The cleanliness was good,staff was helpful and supportive especially Staff Hamza was excellent service provider with excellent customer care.. The location is not on the main road,so taxis were having difficulty to move in .so normally taxi drop off at the main road and I with Mobility impairment had difficulty to walk from main road to the hotel..

Disappointed. Not satisfied with the hotel, I asked about the shops near by if they are open they told me they are but they never opened and its creepy in the pathways. The A/C is switching it self off every night. The elevator is getting damaged every time we try to use it. Its so small that we can hear everything in the hotel. I wanted to check out but the amount was none refundable.. .
