Reservation worth nothing!. The Orangine hotel unilaterally cancelled my booking 3 days(!) before departure. I had booked 2 rooms from 27 to 30 November last. Stating the reason: overbooking. While I already received a positive confirmation of the hotel (2 rooms, 3 nights) via Booking.com on 6 October and the booking amount was debited from my account last Friday (Rebooking time 7 to 14 days). I think they received a better offer. After cancellation they offered an alternative boutique hotel much further from the fair venue. Without breakfast facilities and the facilities that the other hotel did have. Otherwise, no movement at all in thinking along. This hotel does not honour its commitments and then does not offer an adequate and reasonable alternative. Shame on you!. .

Nice hotel. The location: near a bus stop and you have a lot of small restaurants around the hotel. .

Exceptional. Staff, the room was clean and comfortable. Location was alright we wanted to be close to Estadi Stadium and save on hotel, but stay in the very good hotel, which was Orangine.

Clean, modern hotel with helpful staff. Don't hold its location against it.. Returned yesterday from a 4 night stay at this hotel. We stayed in a 'comfort double room' (as described on Hotels.com) and it was compact yet spacious enough for the two of us. The room was clean and well equipped; TV, large and very comfy bed, minifridge, safe, shampoo and shower gel, towels and a hairdryer (full sized not a little travel one.) There was also a small, modern style Juliette balcony. Having the air con on and complimentary water in our room on arrival was a welcomed touch. The staff were friendly and attentive. Can't say anything about the rooftop bar as it wasn't open during our stay, but the area itself was. The pool is shallow and narrow but you can swim in it, just one at a time if you want to do lengths! We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that, but across the road is a cafe doing coffee and a croissant for €1.85. Some reviews have penalised the hotel for its location but that's hardly the fault of the hotel. It's full address and location are available when booking so we strongly recommend always looking up a hotel's location and links to the transport network (if required) BEFORE booking. It wasn't our first time to Barcelona and we know how great the metro system is so we walked about 7 mins to Torassa station each day. We got the metro from the airport to Torassa (line L9S ) which took around 25 mins, was direct, and around €5.50 each. You can also get a T casual ticket (formerly the T10) which allows you 10 journeys (train/metro/bus) for approx. €13. Totally understand why someone would want to stay more central, especially if on a short break or first time in the city, but just letting you know available options. Overall, a great hotel . .

Good but location is far. Good Place to stay. Location is close to public transport.

Business trip in Barcelona. This was a 3 day business trip, chosen for the location close to Fira. The hotel felt recently refurbished, clean and functional. Nothing went wrong from what I experienced. It was in and out, I didn’t eat or spend any time there so can’t comment on service or food. The area was convenient for Fira - 4 stops on the train from Torrassa, which was about a 5 mins brisk walk away. It’s not the nicest or safest-feeling area. I felt ok walking to the station in the morning with my head down and eyes forward. I would not make the return walk after dark - always took a taxi. One night I was woken by a gang of youths making a lot of noise in front of the hotel. Hotel is fine, area is not great.. .
