. Daru Sultan Hotels Galata gave us a much better experience than I expected. We made a reservation for one night on our way back to our country. It is located in the very center of the city and next to the metro station. This is a huge advantage for travelers with time constraints. Also, historical Istiklal Street, Galata Tower, Golden Horn, Bosphorus are within walking distance. There are so many options for shopping and great food in the surrounding area. We had a very nice breakfast experience on the terrace of the hotel with a magnificent view. The rooms are decorated with cultural motifs of the Ottoman and Anatolian ancient civilizations. We felt like Ottoman Sultans. The hotel staff almost looks you in the eye to fulfill your wishes in every respect. They helped us even before we arrived at the hotel. Thank you very much everyone.. .

. It was an exquisite experience. Daru Sultan took me through time and history, beautiful location, gorgeous staff. Ugur and Areef who are the front office managers were very friendly and helpful, all the staff were very respectful and urged to help. This hotel will make you feel like you are living one of the Arabian nights. I will consider it my first choice to stay in the future for my family and friends.. .

The hotel is at a great location and the staff is excellent; but it needs a lot of maintenance work. while in my room one of the armory doors came off and felt on the floor. the fallowing night some pieces of marble trim also came loose and were laying on the bath floor when I woke up. I think this is a fine hotel being neglected. .

Classic style but noisy . I enjoyed my time in Istanbul. Daru Sultan is ok for the price. But I chose it over other hotels for the 8.8 review on Hotels.com and it doesn’t deserve that high. Mostly because of the noise. My room was just above a busy round about with a lot of honking in addition to some loud pedestrians and dogs barking. The old classic style in the hotel is nice, the free bottle of wine was appreciated and the view from the restaurant is great!. .
