Alright to stay but in dire need of some restoration due to hygiene issues. City Centre location, with safety deposit box and amazing croissants and pain au chocolats. Morning Concierge very polite and helpful explaining everything. For a 3 star hotel you don't expect the best in the world but you still expect something that is clean and lives up to your expectations. First impressions of the hotel is its very unique and based on a 17th century mansion very Parisien and rustic, however when we arrived the desk cleck was somewhat not interested in giving us our key hastily, she was somewhat rather abrupt and didn't check to see who was staying like most other European hotels do, just a security measure that's all. She then said when I went to pay city tax with euros that they do not accept them and proceeded to slam the card machine down on the top of the desk. Very nice building very rustic and very beautiful building with a winding staircase, can't fault the building itself. Once we made it to our room we were somewhat concerned, light bulbs were broken in our room and it wasn't particularly well lit and was a bit dark and gloomy. As sight seekers we came back later to find that the bathroom clearly is in need of some restoration. It was clearly not cleaned regularly as there was a substantial amount of black mould growing in between tiles and the crack above the shower was the main worry. On further inspection there was rubbish behind the tap for the sink and black mould and limescale around the shower head. Furthermore extremely dusty around light switches and on the desk and shelf above bed. Weird tile thing hanging out wall too. The bed was somewhat comfy but by far not the best as power sockets for charging phones were far too close to the mattress so couldn't charge both our phones at night. Breakfast although tasty was a disappointment, if you like cheese, pastries and baguette you're in your element but if not then it wouldn't be your pick. Very nice hotel concierge helped explain that it was a traditional French style breakfast which was all good in our books..

A nice old bed and breakfast close to important places. I liked the hospitality of the front desk personnel. He even helped me with the phone charging problem. Also, I liked the size of my room and its interior, except the pictures, but I am a nun, and other people might like them. Most of all I liked the breakfast: it was plain, but generous. And I liked the document on the entrance wall, telling the history of the hotel. Spectacular!. There was no shampoo in the shower dispenser. Zero. So, no shower for me. There was some liquid soap in the sink dispenser, coming in minuscule drops. I washed with water from the sink. Unlike the room that was surprisingly less tiny than an average room in a modest Parisian hotel, the elevator was the tiniest of all I have ever seen in Paris. Just enough room for one person and one suitcase, both of average size. I do not complain, and only mention this as a curiosity..

Loved the stay in this quirky hotel. . The place was very Quirky, lots was either broken or didn't work but that added to the charm.

Good. The manager was extremely nice. The decor was old and lovely. The location was perfect.. The bathroom was very small and the shower hard to use. The hairdryer cord was too short to be able to see the mirror while blowdryimh hair..

Nice location very small lift with not so comfy bedding. Breakfast was ok and staff were very helpful!. Prime location. Breakfast was ok. The staff were helpful.. It’d have been nice to get an individual kettle in the room. The machine downstairs was lukewarm..

We love the elevator. We like everything about this hotel and have stayed there on our last trip to Paris in 2017. .

Exceptional. This hotel is the most romantic spot in Paris, I love it every time! The rooms are very different in light and size, that is too be known, the ones on top are amazing! This year we had a troublesome moment and the staff was so helpful, very kind!. Nothing to be said. It's a historic place dating back to the 17th century so it's special, also in the stairs e and the tiniest lift seen. and I enjoy that! Everything is great..
