Great Place to Stay. I have stayed at the Olivia Balmes Hotel for three nights. The stay was amazing. This is a hotel you want to and should choose to stay at either independently booking or through a travel agent. The location is great, very central and quiet. If you’re looking for a great place to stay in Barcelona, Olivia Balmes Hotel is a pefect choice.
The first people you see when you arrive are Rafael in the morning and Walid in the afternoon. Both have smiles and a willingness to ensure all questions are answered and your concerns are minimal. At check in you are served by Pablo or Guiseppe. Again, nothing is too great a problem. Whether it was booking a local restaurant for dinner, getting tickets for a Hop on Hop Off bus tour or giving directions to local attractions. My room was superior and very comfortable, efficiently laid out making it comfortable and serviced by Nishi. At the end of the day, I returned to a room that was clean and sparkling. Morning buffet breakfast catered to my needs and was very satisfying.
All staff really stand out and are great ambassadors for the Hotel and made staying at this hotel a pleasure.. .

A good choice if you want to walk around the city. The hotel is situated close to all main attractions, close to the Metro and bus stations. Four our purpose it was perfect, but if your target is the beach, then this location will not satisfy you. The staff was extremly nice and the room wes very quiet and clean.. The room was extremly small, I would have imagined a standard size room for that price, but it was very tiny..

The best hotel/value in BCN. This was my third stay at the Olivia Balmes Hotel. I keep coming back because of the unbeatable value, the exceptionally hospitable staff, and the perfect location. It’s not smack dab in the middle of the city where you’ll see mostly tourists once you leave your hotel). You’re surrounded by locals and get the real feel of BCN in this location, yet all the attractions are close and easily reached by foot.
I couldn’t recommend this hotel more. It’s my home away from home. Thank you to the genuinely kind staff who have made my last few trips to BCN so wonderful!. .

Excellent. Happy to recommend!. I loved everything about the hotel. The room was modern, very clean and every need catered to. The location was excellent. We walked everywhere. The staff couldnt have been more helpful. I definitely hope to return.. I found the mattress quite hard. I mentioned this when checking out and was told that they would have changed the mattress or get a topper. So, basically ... nothing the staff wouldnt sort out for you..

We love Olivia Balmes!. Highly recommend Olivia Balmes Hotel. The property and rooms were modern, comfortable and spacious - perfect for a week stay. The staff really goes above and beyond to make your trip special & the location is fantastic as it's easy to get around to all of the sites in Barcelona and you'll feel safe in the neighborhood. We will 100% be coming back to this hotel next time we're back. Lastly, we left our camera in the room and before I even realized, the staff reached out via email and arranged mailing it to my home in the USA.. .
