If 0/5 were a choice I would certainly choose it. Buyer Beware. After booking this hotel I received several very nice emails which led me to believe that things were going to be smooth and streamlined. Upon arrival on May 1 in Istanbul we hired a taxi to transport us to hotel as prearranged ride left due to delay in Getting through passport control and not finding baggage.
Once inside the taxi the driver informed us due to the holiday the police shut down all 4 streets and there was no physical way of getting us to hotel. There’s was an option of walking in the rain with my 93 yr old mother 30-45 mins with luggage to get to the hotel. I phoned the hotel to explain this and the manager was very unsympathetic and said no refunds. Her response was to go out to a club or for coffee u til 10-11 pm and try again. Having traveled from US and not sleeping o. Plane this was not an option. I had booked this hotel through travel app and after frustrating conversation with property manager who obviously was at home (heard children in background) hung up and contact booking app. The representative for booking.com was more than understanding and sympathetic and thought along same lines that despite the number of emails- there should have been some mention that access to the hotel was going to be restricted due to holiday. The representative also tried to reason with hotel manager they also mentioned that manager was not at home. Booking .com offered to find us a new hotel however thankfully our taxi driver was kind and empathetic and was able to find us a room. Booking .com requested the invoice to reimburse us for horrible hotel experience. Not sure if they were able to resolve situation. Last thing they mentioned was that they were awaiting email response from property. .

Excellent hotel. A great hotel, just a one-minute walk to the bus stop and only seven minutes to the train station. It's also right in front of Galata Port. The staff were very friendly, making the stay even better!. Nothing.

Conveniently located close to many shops and dining options. Very comfortable bed. Hotel is just right across the street from Galataport shops/strip.. Would have loved to soak in the view of the Bosphorus from the hotel’s rooftop terrace but the rooftop terrace was closed for maintenance..

The are not professional at hospitality. Location. the are not professional when they dealing with the customer.
Also the water of the toilet was “yellow” unclean and they have been told for more than one day and nothing happened.
Also, they don’t have trolley to take the luggage from the reception to the rooms check in and out..

Good experience. The location is near to Galataport, good breakfast, nice view to the Posphorus. The billows need to be changed, the heater was not working well, hygiene kit not available in the toilet.
