I didn’t feel that it worth the 4 star nor being good value for the money. The room rate should be less for the actual c. The staff were nice and the hotel was in a quiet area. The room had a weird moldy and humidity smell, if you know what I mean, I had a backyard room no sun exposure, the smell also was in the bathroom. It gave me a sense of old and poorly maintained apartment. The walls had peeling and chipped paint, making the space look worn out specifically above the bed and the bathroom despite that the bathroom supposed to be newly renovated. I used the bathtub but the next day after housekeeping, I noticed the tube hadn’t been cleaned too. Plus and most importantly, there is no tiniest bit of soundproof, so you will hear everything from door slamming to the sound of your neighboring room talking, pretty much everything which was annoying the most during my stay..

very good hotel. Everything was perfect, except the breakfast variety which I believe was poor fir such a wonderful hotel.. .

Disappointing for a four star hotel.. Location was good. A number of issues were unacceptable. 1. Peeling paint next to the bed (Room 40). Not acceptable for a supposed 4 star hotel. 2. Lights in the room seemed to work all together. Getting up in the night meant all lights had to be switched on - disturbing my wife and vice versa. 3. Laundry bags left in the corridor outside our room for two of the three nights we stayed at the hotel. 4.Mini Bar: It is great to offer a mini bar in the room which is re-stocked every day. On day one when we arrived, there were 4 or 5 cold drinks in the mini bar. On day two, it was re-stocked with an iced tea and one water. Day three: One water. Seriously? And you market the mini bar as complimentary! I felt a little insulted. 5. On the day of departure, we went down to the lobby to order an Uber to take us to the Eurostar. After sitting there for a frustrating 20 minutes waiting for an Uber to arrive and overhearing another guest being advised that her vehicle to the airport was not going to arrive, we asked the receptionist what was going on. We were advised that the roads were all blocked off and no vehicles could get through - because of an arranged road running race. Now, did the hotel not know about the road race? Why were guests not advised in advance? Is that not the job of the concierge? Speaking of which, no concierge in sight. We were told by the receptionist (whose English is a little better than my French - I don’t speak French) we could lug our suitcases to a place where we could get an Uber - a 10 minutes walk. I use a walking stick… Attention to detail is important in the hospitality industry. Sadly, given the above, not evident at Le Tourville..

5 Stars from USA “Midwesterner’s”. The staff are absolutely fantastic! Very helpful with walking directions to must see sights, gave wonderful recommendations on dining, very helpful when we were ordering taxis and Uber’s making sure the correct information was given. The rooms were very pleasant. The notes welcoming and upon departure were a nice surprise. The location is very convenient. Our only disappointment was that the weather wasn’t nice enough for us to sit on our terraces in our robes and drink our morning coffee.. .
