Everything apart from the hard bed was great for a short city stay. Breakfast was ok, good enough selection, no hot food served but that was fine with us. We were in a brand newly decorated room, lovely bathroom, only problem was the bed was rock hard, I don't mean firm, I mean like trying to sleep on a dining table, suppose the beds were bought to last but absolutely impossible to sleep on.

Good. Friendly and very helpful staff, central location clean and comfortable. The bed was made up as a double but was 2 singles that split at 3am causing me to almost fall through the gap between the beds.

Great place for stay!. Hotel Contilia was a great place to stay for a longer weekend. Location is perfect - close to the main station and also walking distance to Colosseum, St.Maria Maggiore church and other ones. Staff was super friendly and helpful. 24-h reception was also very convenient. Good breakfast and clean, spacious room. We liked our stay very much and we will choose Hotel Contilia when we will be back in Rome for sure.. I’d love to have small coffe/tea set in the room, but it’s just an idea of a little improvement. Everything else was great!.

Very good. The hotel is located in a proximity of the Termini station (train, bus, metro). Historical part of Rome is really in walking distance from the hotel. There are many restaurants in the street, where the hotel is located. Staff at the reception was very helpful, we were able to do an earlier check-in, leave the laggage in the hotel locker and they called taxi for us). The rooms are smaller, but nice equipped, the bathroom is excellent - made of marble. Everything was clean. Breakfats was suffiecient.. There is just one thing to improve, it is about the beds. The matrace is soft and convenient, but it has a tendency to fall down from the ned lower contruction..

Skip It. Only stay here if there is no other hotel in Roma.
I checked the price before I went in, and after making me wait without a greeting, the front desk tried to make me pay for a more expensive room.
Front desk insisted I pay cash, and only backed down when I said I would go to another hotel. The key card was grimy. Coverlet was heavy from sweat and use. Exposed pipe in vent. And on and on.
This is barely a 2 star hotel. Won’t be back.. .
