A hotel so bad, it’ll make you stay outside and explore Barcelona more. Just the location. Very rude staff. Sub-par facilities for a 4 star hotel.

Bad hotel - Great location. The location is great , the hotel itself was clean , and looks very nice in public areas and rooms. First the rooms that we got were not what we ordered - we talked with the receptionist on arrival and were told they will resolve the issue tomorrow morning , we arrived in the morning and were told booking info was wrong , and they dont have rooms like the one we ordered , they refused to assist any further and blamed booking ( even though there private site also published the same info ) and told us we can speak with a manager next day - we did not get any response later( last day we got a small apology and another blaming of booking )
The rooms themselves were very nice and clean but had issues with design, for example no plug near one of beds , so only one person can charge their phone in a double room.
The room did not have a central light ,and only side lights near bed or table .
The shower clogged in three different rooms and due to bad desgin you always suffered from water wetting the whole bathroom.
Also the room had an ecological policy to not wash towels as long as they are hanged , but it was completely ignored and my towels were replaced daily ( good for me less for the earth )
The breakfast was very minimal and did not change for 7 days stay even a little, and you had to ask most days for necessities if they ran out like butter or eggs or bowls ( you can forget about hot water for tea )
The staff was very unfriendly and unhelpful, when I requested to know if a museum was open during a national holiday , I was told they don't know with no attempt to help further .
Other than the first and last day , we were completely ignored by staff - not asking how we are ,saying hello or goodbye when leaving and coming
Also the hotel road is going through major renovation , which meant that in most cases taxis were unable to reach the hotel entrance , I would have expected to have seen a warning for it during booking but did not - regardless it might affect people with mobility issues..
