Great location - great service - choose your room wisely. Overall this hotel is awesome - perfect location (walking distance of the Louvre, musee de l’orangerie, les tuileries, place vendome, st Germain des pres, Eiffel Tower, musee d’Orsay), great and friendly service, nicely accommodated rooms. We had the larger guest room with a queen bed and it was very small based on US standards. The room was above their restaurant (we were on the third floor though) and we could hear the music from the restaurant which prevented us from sleeping until it stopped the first night. Front desk team changed our room for the next 4 nights which was appreciated. So advice - ask for a room on the other side of the hotel or a really high floor! Breakfast was very good - however one day they ran out of baguette 1 hr before breakfast was ending. A hotel of that standing and cost - should never face shortage of food especially not baguette in Paris! And if it did - they should have sent somebody to get more. I personally thought that wasn’t great service. Besides that - everything was great - front desk team is awesome, concierge was very friendly, the hotel has a pool which is small but nice. Overall great experience - it was my second time staying there. Just be careful of the room size and its location!. .

A pleasant stay.. Selection was great. It had Halal meat which was a great surprise for us. The rest were delicious.. I was staying in the corner room which I believe was above the kitchen or restaurant. Day time until about 10pm my room constantly smelled of food. Perhaps installing better exhaust fans to stop the smell coming from the top..

Avoid at all cost! Worst experience a Marriott Elite member can have in Paris. Worst customer service! Why bother being a Marriott ambassador member if there is no special treatment provided? I strongly recommend against staying in this hotel. Personel is rude and disrespectful and I have never lived such experience in any other Marriott around the world. Location is the only good thing in this hotel. .

Disappointing. The staff. The spa facilities were out of commission for several weeks but not updated on booking.com Unfortunately it ruined our visit.

okay. The doorman was very friendly, he gave us a lot of information on things to do and how to get there and when is the best time to go to these attractions. He was very kind and went out of the answer any questions that we had.. I call the front desk to order something and they never got to the room. I went downstairs and I asked her for two Pepsi and 4 water bottles and they only send one Pepsi and 4 bottles of water. she told me "I am here all by myself," I told her that it was fine but she should have told us so we would not have to wait for anything. On a different occasion, I asked the front desk attendant if I needed a taxi he asked me for my room number and told me 10-15 min, the time passed and he was busy with a person so I asked how far the taxi and he said its too late to call a taxi to use Uber..

Low Quality Rooms and Horrendous Service/Management. Definitely consider the reviews below before you stay at this establishment – 100% agree that this is not a five-star hotel. I’ve stayed at numerous hotels in Paris and I always try my best to stay balanced with my reviews. I want to start off with the positives.. because unfortunately the negatives largely outweigh the positives. The room size itself was actually quite decent – we booked the comfy suite, and it had ample room for my husband and my daughter (including a crib in the bedroom). I know there are a lot of reviews on the size of the room, but as a New Yorker… it’s what’s expected, and I was oddly surprised with the space. The furniture is laid out efficiently (though I will get to quality shortly) and it was nice to have two bathrooms – though one bathroom is probably better to free up space. The renovations in the lobby are quite nicely done – wish it translated into the rooms themselves. Breakfast was included (Platinum member) and the options were pretty good. Location is fantastic in terms of walkability, though not sure I would stay in the Vendome Area again. Ok the negatives – let’s start with rooms. While the space is decent, the room quality and furnishings are minimal to say the least. It looked like you were staying in an Ikea decorated dorm room (you can see pictures below for our living room). Peeling furniture, no paintings on the wall, no rug, a nightstand being used as a coffee table, limited lighting… keeps going and feels like you are in a dungeon. While we had two bathrooms -neither were renovated and one had a shower that looks like what you would find in a 1990s renovated basement bathroom – tiny at best and unfunctional. Bathtub was rusting and disgusting. I called down to complain and was basically dismissed – no option to even move to a new hotel, since we had prepaid. Mind you.. we were paid between 700-1000 Euros a night, given new year’s… this was unbelievable in terms of what you were getting. The management is atrocious – incredibly rude and cold staff.. from the moment we stepped in, there was a front desk attendant yelling at a customer on the phone telling him that he was speaking too loud.. that should have been the start. Following my complaint, literally dismissed us, incredibly cold and felt uncomfortable even being in the hotel. They should have let us move to another hotel, if they did not want us to stay. My check out was the absolute worst – where she threw the bill at me and did not even communicate asking how our stay was, thank you, literally nothing. I think this starts with the higher-level management, which clearly needs training on hospitality. At breakfast, no highchair for my baby – I understand restaurants in Paris likely don’t have this, but a hotel restaurant – let alone a Marriott brand hotel not having options for children to sit in? Also no doorman - I think someone opened the door twice during our stay. I had to struggle getting through the door with my stroller and front desk staff would just watch. At one point, someone who looked like the manager was standing right by the door and didn’t bother to help - just watched me struggle. Long story short- not a five star hotel, terrible service, low quality and not baby friendly.. .
