Bad place with a nice staff. Noisy, cold place, with a dark background, and a smelly toilet, nice minimal decor, medium cleaning standards for the area, and kind staff. In front of the elevated railway, so don't recommended for the high level of noise, if you need to sleep, day or night time.. .

Perfect for low to no standards . Fine if you are young and just need a bed for your head but if you have a certain level of comfort that you are accustomed to then you will want to avoid this place. The door jam was falling apart so to be safe we barricaded the door with our luggage. The bathroom was rough but everything did work. The elevated subway is right outside your window so expect the noise to come and go through out the night. . .

A very cheerful stay. This hotel isn't in the fanciest end of Paris and it's not a luxury experience, but for the very reasonable price, it's a great place to stay.
The staff were friendly and did all they could to help. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The bathroom facilities were perfect (the shower was fantastic!).
Only a two minute walk from the nearest metro station, this is an affordable alternative to staying somewhere more central.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris on a budget.. .

Ok hotel for one night.... Nice Staff, but I guess that was it.. We had one night at this hotel. Near Mont-Matre and the Metro, but the area felt really unsafe. A lot of noise from the streets all night so not easy to sleep. Ok hotel for 1 night, but I would not recommend a stay here with children.. .

Great overnight hotel. . Despite a Metro strike and a rather strange area, this hotel was great for an overnight or two day stay. We were lucky to get two rooms at the back overlooking a small courtyard. It was quiet, warm and comfortable and clean. Very helpful and pleasant staff and great for exploring Montmartre! Despite area being strange I never felt threatened. No soap, just shower gel and no TV remote. But good for Gare du Nord connection.. .

. Lift wasn’t working and wasn’t fixed the second day when they said it would be, stairs were narrow and difficult to navigate with luggage, room was small, surrounding area wasn’t the greatest.
Walking distance to Gare Du Nord which is a plus. . .

Good value at the cheap end of the market. Yes, it is in a noisy busy area and some may not like the youths hanging around the street corners, but there is a regular police presence. This is a typical area to be found around many mainline stations in the world. But the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The room was basic and clean, together with the bathroom. I would prefer bedside lights either side, we only had 1 in the centre so difficult to read if the other person is asleep. There is a delightful courtyard in the centre of the building to sit and eat and drink your own food. There is a communal kitchen to make your own snacks and drinks. This is very suitable for people on a budget. The hotel is so close to Gare du Nord and the metro Barbes that it is ideal for train travelers. There is a good restaurant Barbes just along the street , same side, opposite the metro station, with a traditional Parisian menu.. .
