Over all, I thought this place was really great for a budget hotel. We had all we needed and more.. Great facilities, Loved the downstairs space and garden area to look out on. Very clean. Fabulous breakfast. Coffee machine was a nice touch (just didn't realise we could use it).. The receptionist on duty when we arrived could have made more of an effort to meet me half way with the language, instead of trying to make me speak mainly French to him. As a result, I didn't realise some of the things were available such as the free coffee machine downstairs for guests. As is so often the case, not all of the light fittings were functioning in the room, though most were..

A V.good, comfortable hotel in a chaotic neighborhood But hope you stay there, for easy reach to GdN. Comfortable rooms. Excellent, varied breakfast. Too many street-traders and no quality restaurants in the neighborhood.

Superb. Reception staff were very welcoming. The room was not big but was very clean and comfortable, nice decor. There was a fold down table that was a clever and practical place to eat/drink. We also really liked the shower (the big shower head, water pressure and temperature - perfect combo to melt away the tiredness of a day in the city). The location is very convenient for transport to various parts of the city and also onward rail transport. The flip side of that is it doesn't feel that safe in the evening (this is the same in other major cities near the train station...) Nothing bad happened it's just that feeling..
