Perfect weekend base. Great location as described in many reviews. In a lovely building and great street. Very welcoming night porter, felt safe and comfortable arriving late evening. Simple room but mote that adequate when out sightseeing all day, we simply needed a bed and bathroom. Loved the window/balcony. Great to have a simple continental breakfast included before setting of for a day exploring. We explored Paris by foot however metro easy to acess too.. We took our time to research options of where to stay, balancing cost vs. location. As a balance, this for Paris prices, is reasonable priced whilst still being in a good neighhood. Small rooms but fitted our neededs perfectly No negative from us..

:(. My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel. They call themselves a 3-star hotel but they are worth one. The bathroom was very small and poorly maintained, two windows, one of which did not have the curtain open. No one warned us on arrival that breakfast was not included and we had to pay an amount of 144€ for 7 days. On all my trips abroad, I was always warned that breakfast was not included and if I wanted to use it I had to pay for it. They were not transparent with us. Also while we were in bed just waking up (it was 9am) the cleaning lady came in to change the towels. Disappointing. .

Small B & B in 8eme Arrondissement. Small 3 star pension. Cheap for 8eme/9eme Arrondissement. Small lift, standard for a pension/b&b. Steep stairs. Close to Liége metro linge 13 and Gare St Lazare for Normandie, Versaille trains. Polite staff, good breakfast buffet. Not suitable to some mobility impaired.. .

Our expectations were met. We paid a very good price. The breakfast was a tad spartan but sufficient. The staff was friendly and there for us. The location was very convenient since it was beside the Liege metro station, a short walk to the Saint Lazare Train station and not too far to the #2 metro station.. .
