Lovely hotel but let down by the unfriendly staff.. Visit Sitges Every year with my husband this year as husband 70 we were a group of ten of us, mid 50’s to 70 for a 70th birthday. I had the lovely garden room view of pool and spacious outside area. Room was modern, clean, lovely shower and good outside space. Good choice and value at breakfast but tables were not being cleaned and piling up on table which I had to keep removing. The breakfast lady on last days stay 23rd was not nice at all. Bar was really nice and bar staff were great. Receptionist was at times unfriendly and at times unhelpful and dismissive. Man who checked us in on are late arrival first day was really nice and friendly. Contacted hotel 2/3 weeks before arrival to see if they could arrange a Birthday cake for my husband I did not receive a reply. Although this was the best hotel room I’ve ever stayed in, in Sitges, but because of some of the unfriendly staff I would not return here again which is a shame as it is a lovely little hotel but some of the staff let you down.. .

Not ready to be open, I think.. Clearly the hotel is newly built so the rooms themselves are very nice. Very smart and modern operation of the rooms. Spacious, clean and pretty. Location is good. Utopia Cafe on site is very nice.. - Noise from outside and other rooms travels. - Not sure if because it’s still new, but I didn’t have hot water for awhile the one morning. So I kept running the water to see if it would get hot - but in this time the drainage wasn’t working fast enough and the whole bathroom flooded with water. It was a short and miserable shower. - Elevators were not working. Assured they would be working by Sat morning but still not working by Sunday morning. I had to carry my suitcase down the 2-3 flights of stairs myself. - Person upon checkout was rude and rushed. I asked for help to carry my bag down and was brusquely told there’s no one. I wouldn’t have minded being told as long as it was politely done. They just asked for my room number and said ok. I had to even ask if they want the key cards back..

This hotel has expanded and isn't the experience it once was.... Check in and staff are very helpful.. This hotel isn't the same as it used to be! It was once a boutique hotel offering good value, an enjoyable stay and very helpful staff but it has been expanded considerably into an adjacent old building. Every night I experienced some sleep disturbance, either a noisy member of staff working directly outside my bedroom door after midnight or the Police outside my door at 0300 in the middle of the night returning stolen goods to the guest in the adjacent room (could this not have waited until morning?). Breakfast quality is only average with little or no variation each day..

Nice boutique hotel but it could improve the overall hotel room quality. Good points: For Sitges the price of the boutique hotel is good. You get good value for money although the room needs some improvements. The hotel is in a silent and nice green villa part of Sitges and is about 4 blocks from the beach. The hotel is far away (> 1000 meters) from the noisy R2 railway tracks, so you will not be bothered by the frequency of the trains moving through the beach town. The breakfast at Utopia (Part of Hotel Sitges) is excellent and offers a variety of delicious items including cava and costs around €15 per person. The hotel desk staff is friendly and helpful during the stay. The Utopia breakfast staff could be a bit more friendly at check in. Disliked: The pool area has an empty feel and minimalistic (not boutique style at all) setup and is not creatively designed as it misses a beach ambience and a pool bar. Around the hotel you cannot find a supermarket or bakery close by. The one person room is really small and does not have a desk, fridge and a chair. The main ceiling light was really bright and was not dimmable. The room window has a problem with its window groove as it sticks out and shows it's forced indoors due to external forces. (See picture). The room doors are really thin and feel cheap and you can hear conversations from outside the room. The room is not well sound insulated. The drain of the shower and sink created an unpleasant smell. It can be that the room was not used for a while and due to that the drain started to smell, so you had to flush some water to fill the siphons. Not sure why the management or house maid hasn't flushed water before the guests arrived.. .

We only had a one night sleepover, but it was definitely worth it.. Really good breakfast, comfortable rooms, little doors and friendly staff.. The shower only comes above, a moveable shower would be great..

Superb. Very clean and pleasant. The room was very small but that’s the only fault. It was spotlessly clean.

Very good. Quirky place with friendly staff well located for the bus to Barcelona. Not so well located for restaurants and bars in Sitges. Single economy room was very small and mattress was so, so but it was cheap and they have nicer rooms..
