Amazing location and amazing staff. Fantastically located and with amazing staff. We stayed for 8 nights and found both Murat and Yusuf to be so friendly, welcoming and helpful with orientating ourselves in Istanbul and any queries we had during our stay. The hotel also knew it was a special occasion for us and made the room really lovely. Breakfast is generous and varied and bottled water daily in room really appreciated.. The economy room beds and duvets are quite small. We asked for another duvet which the hotel was more than happy to provide..

Good but could be much more better. The overall was acceptable unless some things that could be improved. I booked 3 rooms one of them is a family studio. Upon check-in we figure out that there’s no family studio available for the first night. But they promised to give it to us starting the second night which was OK. We got the family studio the second night but the toilet flush was not working. I called the receptionist and they were aware about it and they told me that they don’t have a technical team in the hotel and they will fix it tomorrow morning. And they suggested to use the reception toilet instead :) The location is great 1 min away from galata tower and near all touristic attractions BUT if you are traveling with a baby and a stroller I don’t recommend it. A lot of ups and downs and most of streets are difficult to walk in using a stroller. Food was OK with a nice view from the restaurant. Room service can be better.. .

Excellent place. An excellent hotel to stay 5 steps away from Galata tower, very clean and with great breakfast. Despite being next to the centre, the area is very quiet. The staff is really friendly and supportive, ready to help fulfill all your needs. Would definitely recommend. .

AVOID, GUESTS BEWARE - My worst hotel experience ever. I've been chasing this company for a refund for my 6-night stay for over 1 month now. They turned our Istanbul trip into a nightmare. First, when we arrived at La Porta they promptly told us they moved us to another property without our permission because they overbooked. I booked La Porta specifically because it has a rooftop breakfast. They moved us to Galata Mansion, which doesn't have a rooftop, and stuck us in a room with a broken air conditioner and no exterior windows. We had to leave the hotel after 1 night because it was too hot to sleep, and Galata Mansion was also overbooked and no other rooms were available. They promised us a refund, and have said multiple times that it has been sent while later admitting it hasn't. STILL NO REFUND. Stay was supposed to be September 26 - Oct 2.. .

Amazing hotel and location. Very Clean rooms and very good friendly staff, amazing amazing location literally a few yards from the galata tower such a vibe, family friendly, good breakfast rooftop sea view, it was my sons birthday the hotel staff surprised him with a birthday cake which was such a sweet gesture. Definitely would come back to this hotel. .

Superb. We were a family of 7, the staff was very understanding, patient, and friendly with us. Breakfast was always fresh. There were no unexpected or hidden costs, everything was very transparent. The staff helped us quickly organize a shuttle for 7 people transfer to the airport. Everything went smoothly.. .
