. The area is beautiful but everything around this place closes at 7. My partner got food poisoning from the only place open in the area. The hotel itself is nice but the rooms were outdated and very tiny. . .

. The Miraggio is a quaint old hotel with lovely treed gardens just a short 5 minute walk from the beach. We chose it because we had a couple days before flying out and it was both close to the airport and a pleasant stay. On the minus side, our room (210) was very small and had a rather noisy air conditioner. It was loud enough that it kept us awake. Like most accommodation of this type, they say they have flat screen TV but if you don't understand Italian and also aren't interested in talk TV then you might as well not have it. Other than that a charming old hotel worth trying out.. .

Lovely getaway from the busy city. Lovely setting, close to beach and restaurants, quiet getaway from bustling city. Only downside is difficulty with transport due to work stoppage strikes during our stay causing us to pay a high price for a taxi to get there rather than the bus as we had planned. Early morning bus the next day was running so we were able to get to the airport on time. They do offer a shuttle but it is also expensive and must be reserved in advance.. .

After dealing with massive crowds in Rome due to the Jubilee Year & the Pope's funeral on the day of our arrival, the busy ports on our 8-day cruise and our disembarkation and overnight stay in Venice, we flew back to Rome. We wanted somewhere quiet for our last night before our 9-hour flight home. We arrived at the Hotel Miraggio, a beautiful hotel & beach resort that was just a few weeks from being in season. We were so happy to have peace & quiet. Our check in with Monique was smooth and the room was lovely. We had lunch & cocktails at the Miraggio Beach club and then walked the beach. We returned to the hotel and enjoyed relaxing on the chaise lounges in the rear of the property and the outdoor terrace attached to our room was perfect! We asked for dinner recommendations from Letto (sp?) and we walked to the BBQ di Angy for a nice dinner and Gelato. We walked back to the hotel and had a great night's sleep. The breakfast was fabulous, and check-out was a breeze! I would highly recommend this hotel out of season if you are looking for peace & quiet!. .

The staff and accommodations were fantastic. Everyone was so helpful and pleasant.
I would go again, but stay longer next time. . .
