Basic but pleasant.. Lovely staff and clean room. Great location with a choice of metro lines within a 5 minute walk, some of the main sites are only a 30minute walk away and a great choice of restaurants in nearby Le Marais.. It rained and there was an unpleasant sewer smell from the drains. Shutting the plug and closing door helped to minimise it and we didn’t notice it when it wasn’t raining. The room is basic and the bathroom is narrow so if you’re planning on spending time in the hotel it may not be ideal. We found the mattress soft which may not be to everyone’s taste. In general the location, staff and using it as a base to sleep made up for it being basic and we had a great stay..
